In US news and current events of national and international importance, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was booed by protesters at an event in Kentucky this week. Some are mad Mitch McConnell has not done anything to deal with Russian interference in the 2016 election and the ongoing Russian meddling and election interference with the 2020 elections as confirmed by the Mueller report. House Democrats passed an election security bill but McConnell has yet to hold a vote on it in the Senate. This lack of action has earned him the nickname Moscow Mitch.

Man the public is so misinformed on this. Mitch McConnell has already passed legislation to give more funding to States for security reasons to stop election hacking. But these new laws would have put power over state-run elections in the federal government's hands. It says in our Constitution state-run elections are up to the states not the federal government. So mitch is only tying to fallow the Constitution.

He also quashed another proposal to require candidates, their campaign officials and their families to alert federal authorities if they’re offered aid from foreign governments ― something President Donald Trump himself has not committed to doing.

And I know the military wouldn't revolt if the government was run by democrats and independents, the Republican party is known as the dying political party in the United States since early 2000's. As people register to vote, for every 1 Republican, theres 14 Democrat registrations and 4 Independent. And as people of the older generation age and pass on, their ideology of not making progressive changes to our country gets more and more unpopular, the only side will be leaning Democrat. If the electoral college was abolished and the popular vote was all that mattered, Hillary would be president. Republicans probably wouldn't ever have a sitting president again and their party would die faster. But the military doesn't fight for political parties, they fight for their country, for the constitution, for their families, for the money and college money and experience. They do it for honor. Its a sacrifice. The mentality was literally brainwashed into peoples heads by their parents or teachers - about politics. But if you dont have that, people would be forced to do their research to pick a candidate they can believe has similar interests. Mitch on the other hand, should just go home and pack because Kentucky can't stand him.

Moscow Mitch has won his senate seat by narrow margins in Kentucky and now we know how he did it-by cheating with Russian help.
