Another thought, if someone wants to go to the trouble. Assume this video is shot at a frame rate of 30 fps. You could count the number of frames where the ball was actually in his hands in slow motion. If it's 18 frames or less (60% of a second, or .6 seconds) than it's definitely good. Not saying it's important to to do this, but it would be interesting.

As a staff we watched the shot again and man, either he got it off real quickly which is tough to do in 0.6 seconds or maybe the clock started a tad bit late. Anderson got that shot out of his hands as quickly as he could. It had to be really close. I'd say you'd have to give it to him. I wonder if there's a cellphone video from someone situated at either end of the court that shows the backboard lights along with the hand release. That would be interesting.
