Here's a cover of the ULTRA Epic track "Thrown Upon The Waves" by the Legendary Mithras. This is a cool track to play for sure! I hope Master Macey approves of me putting it up! Check out

This track certainly highlights my single stroke limit. Thank the Gods for double strokes haha!

That is phenomenal, Jo and I are both stunned at how wide your musical ability is and at such a high standard. Your talent is never ending and we are privileged to see your work, whether it's cello, guitar, drums and other instruments, you manage to play with so much ability and passion. It's a real pleasure to know you and to have spent time with you and Shelley. The stuff you do outside of the social thing is as important and deserves recognition.

I've been watching all of your videos over the past few weeks and they're all killer (really like the Angelcorpse cover) but this one is astonishingly good. I remember listening to this album loads when I was in uni, writing assignments late at night. It nearly drove me mad how much I listened to it. The hypnotic leads and relentless brutality were like crack. :)

Do you still do singles for this when you play live? Cause I know a full set of this is just...Brutal. Seriously impressive though! You're easily one of my favorite drummers just from something like this alone and of course that Chambers of Dis cover really boosted that for me too :) Reminds me a lot of Hate Eternal in how it's just constant bomb blast fuckery haha. Hope you're having a good weekend!

Good question! I actually mix both singles and doubles live. I'm getting proper old now so have to be careful haha. I have to say this track live is mostly doubles on the faster parts. A whole set at 280 odd bpm is utterly leg destroying 🤣 the new Mithras set is just insane trust me lmao. Hope you're having a cool one too boss 🤘😎🤘

@@benwhitedrums Yeah that's respectable. I know drummers like Eugene do heel toe liver for the fast stuff just because it's easier for them to be tight that way in a full set. I mean you said it yourself, a full set of that stuff on singles that's stuff like only Kevin Paradis can do as far as I know basically hahah! And yep, only good times here! Currently waiting for July 11th I'll be seeing Incantation live in Stockholm.
