Don’t boosted 420a’s normally tear apart their stock transmissions? I read online they can only take around 165 ft/lbs of torque comfortably.

aem afr failsafe gauge is super baller, you might check into those. programmable, does logging, can display boost and afr in one gauge, did I mention programmable? also can be setup for failsafe mode to shut down an engine under lean conditions.

@@MiguelDsm I can respect that, a standard afr gauge is easier to wire in. make sure if you need an output wire for logging or feeding to the ecu that it is going to meet your needs. I don't know if the standard gauge has an output wire or not does it? don't consider a afr gauge to always be completely accurate I only say this as a word of caution. the engine tuners I work with have seen enough of them go bad and cause tunes to go bad that it's a real issue.

I have a question. If i swap a 4g63 into an eclipse am i obligated to do an awd swap or can i leave it fwd without problem? Thinking of getting a dsm and it would really help knowing the risks and actions i need to take before i actually buy it. Would really help me out if u could clarify this for me.

You can go fwd or awd. Check the how to video on my channel. It tells you what you need to go fwd

That secondary O2 location might not be a good place for the Wideband O2 sensor. A - too far away from the heat of the engine. B - wrong angle. Condensation might build up on it and ruin it.

I placed a bung on my downpipe personally, but see many people run it from the secondary 02. I see your point though

Yo whats all the gauges you need also im 14 in Australia and no eclipse preferably 2G GSX'S didnt come or were imported to Australia and even if i import one - one day i will need a left hand drive to right hand drive swap. :(((( but one day ill get one hopefully

You might have me sold on getting another one once my FD gets back on the road. Had one a long time ago but the constant issues and inexperience turned me away from them for a long time. I'm a little more knowledgeable on cars now so i I guess I'll be in the market soon.

Stock block. 8 psi. That’s the most you can run on a 420a without going forged internals

I asked because i have a turbo 420a also but i only have a 8 lb wastegate spring and i still hit 12-15 lbs lol

Make sure the gauge is getting power and is connected to the secondary 02

it has to have the proper output wire (the gauge) and then you have to wire it into the ecu, (there are certain pins you can use) then you have to go into link and setup the input and some other things for configuration. you should also run a narrow band do not do narrow band simulation. if you have an aem failsafe gauge you can program the output wire voltage and 02 simulation (again don't do narrow band Sim)

Beat stock civics?? Is that a joke? I really dont get it. Im not a turbo guy so can someone explain? It sounded like a burn on the dude's car to me. All that and he cant beat a stock civic?
