Pretty smooth install. I had an issue where the arm that connects the handles to the door latch would not consistently open the door. I solved it by using a bolt to shorten the distance that the arm had to slide up and pop open the latch.
I just recently bought a 95 GS-T from a close family friend and these videos were a driving force behind me buying it, despite it being "shitass." Love the content!
Bro your cars are so fire i'm contemplating on buying either an eclipse or a supra mk3 but afer watching your vids i might get the eclipse lmao, fire video
So my 99RS 2GB had a leaking head gasket and right before I was going to replace it I heard a small rod knock or piston slap when it reved and at that point I was done. Luckily I have a buddy that loves the 2G and offered to trade me his 2010 Honda Accord coupe with a K24 engine 5 speed, ac/heat, runs solid, unmolested engine aside from a Greddy exhaust and stage 2 clutch upgrade plus its super clean so just like you and your Camry I did let my 2G go for a super reliable daily. With Honda and Toyota you can't go wrong. Kinda getting to old to be having one problem after another so I settled for reliability...
That "thick rod" that runs vertical, awhile back i mentioned that putting a bolt in there will help close the gap from the rod pushing down and actually opening the door. Its helped my door since, and now it opens right when i pull up on the door. Only way im ever doing a handle replacement ever again..
After seeing your technique for opening Eclipse doors I don't think I will break another door handle. But have you tried epoxy resin on the rear "arm" part of the door handle? The gaps in the arm part are definitely a weak point and I filled the gaps with epoxy resin to strengthen and hopefully never break them.
anyone have advice on finding a gs-t? living in IL i figured they'd be easier to find but everything on FBM is for parts, too rusted to be restored or so pristine it's priced out of my budget. my guess is just keep searching but any advice would be appreciated, like many these vids keep me motivated...
