hi everyone! first off I promise we have some new DSM content coming again very VERY soon!. Only one more part left of the evo revamp and we will be back to our regularly scheduled programming!. But in todays episode we go through the front and rear BREMBO brakes and remove the old rotors and pads and install brand new drilled and slotted rotors with fresh ceramic pads. This job is a little bit different from your standard brake job due to the BREMBO calipers and front hardlines. Hope you enjoyed!. And as always stay healthy and stay safe!. See you next time...

I miss the eclipse but I do like the little bit of evo content too I feel like more people are interested in the evo too so hopefully this helps your channel grow a bit 👍 keep up the grind bro

Are those R1 concept rotors and brakes how they hold up

Not sure tbh. Think they’re stock. They were ok for the first long run of miles. Only swapped em bc they were toast.

Why would you put those rotors on instead of keeping the 2 piece design and just change the rotor rings? You just went backwards in performance technology.

This was work I did on a friends car who wanted to replace the old worn out rotors with some new ones. Albeit they weren’t the stock 2 piece (which were pretty rough) they were newer and didn’t have the warped rears. For sure can do both mentioned methods but this car just got replacements with the factory brembo calipers.

Hey I just checked and my wideband wasn’t hooked up to the ecu 😂😂😂 thanks for the suggestion bro

@@TPGDSM yeah thanks a ton man I was wondering though you make corrections on the maf comp sliders based on combined fuel trim and maf raw data correct?

@@batmanboss1163 I go on a 30 minute drive with the throttle going from 0%-50% staying out of max boost and make a log. The stop the log, right click on the log screen where all the lines are and click "mafcomp adjust (combined ft)" and it will bring you to the maf comp page and you'll see white dots where the ecu guesstimates your maf should be. Set to those points and make all the transitions from dot to dot smooth. Then make another log and compare

@@batmanboss1163 don't go wide open throttle until your dialed in. Log combined ft, knock, timing, ltft lo ltft mid ltft high and stft.
