I have owned an Evo IX MR for a longtime and it is great car, I have never regret buying it and I am sure you would be the same, If you see a good condition IX go for it!
Ha! This just popped up. 6Yrs! There is something about the Evo. Many laud it but many don't really know until you own one. I have ( to this day) recurring friendly banter with M car owners about the best handling four door saloon ( sedan for the 'mercans). These days, my fun car is an Evora 400. Sublime ( and awesome) little V6 charged sports car ( with good old hydraulic steering to boot!) But I still miss my Evo 6. Over a decade of ownership, be it school run/shopping or track/backroad hooligan that could scare a Lambo shitless....... The best car I've ever owned.
it is right that the lancer evo stopped with the X, because they would not be able to create better cars than those of the past ... those few original evos left will increase in price
And even if they bring it back its gonna suck. Depends on the fact if you like E Cars or hybrid cars because if the evo comes back in somewhat 2025 or some year like thats its not gonna be as sick as the evo how we know it with its crazy 4g63 Turbo Engine.
