MItsubishi Lancer Ralliart Evo MR SST problem found... 

Shift fork 2 and 4 are most of the culprits from reading the evo and ralliart forums. Its best to get a full transmission rebuild to completely annhilate the problem from reoccuring again even if it costs $$$ imo

So I've done several of these fixes on these transmissions since this video. The common symptoms were the transmission not shifting into the gears from the magnetic reluctor that was broken or missing. Re-securing the magnets DID correct the issues on every transmission that had this problem. The cars typically had transmission control errors, but I can't remember exact trouble codes right now.

That lil part is a magnetic sensor and is a comon issues on the sst, it can fall off like yours or cover by metal shape and causes issues. On MRT chanel they talk about it.

If you're not able to replace the entire transmission due to financial constraints (it's a $10k transmission) and your only option is to disassemble the transmission and reattach the magnetic sensor if it isn't broken, I've come across rather crude solution to this issue. If you drill a hole into the center of magnetic sensor, you can use guitar wire in unison with the glue, and make sure the wire is tightly secured to the shift fork, that way there is an extremely low chance of it become detached again. Even with the wire attached you can still teach in the transmission no issues.

P1183 for me, sounds like this issue. Bad luck, sounds inevitable. Good info.

Do you have the tightening/Torque specs for re-assembling the box back?

my 09 ralliart has the error code P1879, do you know what the most common issue is that pertains to this code by chance?

On my evo mr I have the transmission code P1874 (Clutch 2 Pressure) do you guys know a solution to this problem?

Do you have any idea why a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer es keeps saying slow down? I was on the highway and it popped up slow down and it barely would let me accelerate and then I started smelling an odd smell in my car. If you would have any idea what that would be from it would help a lot thanks!

Hey Chris or anyone that can help me I have a Ralliart 09 and it skips the even gears when I shift , it goes from 1,3,5 you think this would be the problem ?

Welp my gts 2009 is having transmission problem technically gear is slipping or when I’m on complete stop their no power ever if my foot is on gas pedal mechanic is telling me it’s bad prolly need new one codes are P0105 P0804 this is for lancer 09 gts

Piece of junk is right. Who in their right mind uses glue to hold parts of a transmission together. Fucking Mitsubishi. I purchased a Ralliart and what a nightmare of constant expensive repairs this vehicle has been. Never again will I buy a Mitsubishi.
