Great idea.. I think my stabilizer body mount bushings are the noise culprit in my Toyota Yaris. I recently pulled the hub knuckles to get new bearing pressed out/in…and found ball joints, rod ends and control arm bushings to be in great condition. The only thing left??? Sway bar mounts
Stabilizer bar bushing is bad and allowing it to hit against the driver side control arm. The bushing needs to be replaced. Do you have any experience with the "trailer arm" Have a 16' Outlander Sport that needs to be replaced. 1) Do you know where I can find this part for less than what the dealership is asking ($300)? 2) Any other models or years I could swap this out with? 3) Any good videos you know of that demonstrate how to replace this bad boy? Thanks for taking the time to video this, always helpful. Good luck!
I would love to be able to make such a video, but I'm afraid I do not have the time, money or equipment/tools. There are still so many things I would love to change on the suspension of my outlander, it makes lots of squeeking noise in the right front suspension and I feel play in the back (probably the upper control arms) when reversing.
Had all new struts and bushings put on. Still clunking in rear. Sounds like in passeger rear. Took back to shop and they cant figure out whats causing noise. could it just be the body or bumper. Took spare out from under thought maybe muffler but thet cant find anything wrong. Over bumpy roads
@@Bowtie1972 garage came down to conclusion that it's just body/frame itself, rough ride ...... repeatedly checked everything underneath. All was good. Still does it but more weight less thunk.
It's the bracket (stabiliser bush) keeping the horizontal stabiliser bar in place. It's about one third from the left, in the middle height wise. You can see the horizontal bar shaking in it. Here is a video how to replace it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5UyeFDbKK30.html I have the exact same issue on my 2011 Outlander.
