Mitsubishi Outlander TPMS fault. These generally don't go wrong, it's normally caused by a muppet at a fast fit tyre centre that breaks the sensor off while replacing the tyre. It really isn't that difficult to replace a tyre and not break the sensor.

great video....I always wanted to find out how these tyre pressure monitors actually were fitted and worked. Good to know that muppets could accidentally break them when they fit new wheels or tyres, something I'd be looking at when I swap my standard cr@ppy ES wheels for an aftermarket wheel

Looks like someone sat down a few years back and said, "now, how can we add complications to the simple job of tyre fitting?" "I know, we'll fit a TPMS"... But then, there are drivers out there that wouldn't know if their tyres were flat without the warning light coming on, so there's that.

It's easy to change the tyre without breaking the sensor so that isn't an issue. The main problem is people don't read the owners manual and bring their car in saying there's a warning light on, don't know what it is and think it's a fault, when really it just needs the tyres inflated a bit. They inconvenience themselves.

@@pistonbroke I have the same problem ,it's showing the error " tire pressure monitor service required" Can it be solved by deflating the tires a bit ,or it needs to be brought to the shop ?

Damn I think this happened to my Outlander when I had the tyres changed recently. The sensor is not just damaged, but actually leaks air over time!

Sorry mate, I haven't got any coming in that need stripping. When I have then there will be a video. For now you'll have to put up with whatever I get up to 😁

Hi mate, I have just come back from Range Rover Chester and my hydraulic tappets are in great shape, they said I need a new oil cooler, both manifold covers, turbo pipe and seals, would you be interested in this work?

I could but you'd have to find alternative transport while I have your car. I only have about 4 hours free every Saturday afternoon and 4 hours is not enough time to do all that in one go.
