I have a '03 l200 with a similar system, but ive been told that i need to get the tank down to change the pre filter... is that true? Is there an easier way?
@@maluko289 Thank you very much for the reply. I was working on another issue and shorted the EX-Compass purple wire, which is now connected to the boost gauge as ACC/key power supply. I went though ALL the fuses. Clock and one that said 'meter'. It's doing my head it. Especially as replacing the burnt clock fuse returned the clock and dome light, but not all of what was lost. Makes NO sense to me that shorting one small wire for the EX-compass could blow a fuse and a GHOST connection somewhere else is doing my head in.
@@offgridislandfamily I do believe all those acessories are in the dome light circuit, therefore you should expect this with a small short circuit. For better troubleshooting this get a Haynes manual ou the factory repair manual (you can find the last one online for download search on Google). This will show you the wiring diagram which helps a lot.
