Orochimaru's parenting skills are S-Tier.

Orochimaur is good now and doesn't have any bad intentions. He truly cares for and loves Mitsuki. This whole episode was just a test to get Mitsuki to tap into his sage mode powers and make his own choices.

So this story was written by Kishimoto and you can tell just by how he plays with the words in japanese as "Tsuki" means both moon and vessel

Orochimaru having a son is probably the only legal way he's allowed to be near children :D

I was worried with this episode because damned if I was getting ready to hate on Orochimaru but he was only giving his boy a choice. Mitsuke is such a great character, a mixture of tough, innocent and loyal, my favorite character on the show. I loved this episode.

Suzy was funny as hell doubting Orochimaru in this vid. It's aight, he is the greatest anime character of all time for a reason. Also, there'll never be a character like him. You can't make anything like him. His designing, his behaviour, his nature, his music, everything about him is just sheer perfection.

I think team 7 means most to Sarada and not a lot to anyone else. Team numbers are just numbers, but for a girl doing what she can to become hokage and realizing that working with your team is paramount, it probably helps her to know she's following in the footsteps of greatness

Synergy of new team 7 actually the best out of all team 7 we have seen.

When you watch more and start to realize Orochimaru is the best parent between Naruto and Sasuke lol.

How not Love Mitsuki, he is so adorable!!!

Mitsuki's past or story is one of my favorites, as is Sumire's. There is also another, but that until later.👍🏻 The meaning of the name in this story is very significant and beautiful. Orochimaru wants Mitsuki to be different and is on a good path to his life with friends.💙✨ Very cool your reaction Suzy, I loved it a lot. I hope to see more reactions from Boruto.😆

Orochimaru really cares about Mitsuki (you’ll see in the future) and he is a great parent, better than others haha. This whole episode was Orochi, Suigetsu, Log testing Mitsuki to make his own decisions and awake the Sage Mode Power

When Orochimaru is a better parent than Naruto and Sasuke

I love how no matter how many VISIBLE changes orochimaru's personality has she still dosen't trust him. I hope she gets to realize orochimaru isn't what he was.

The real reason for the show to gets hate for The Naruto fans are not actually mad about boruto or his character They are mad about making the OG characters weak to make boruto characters cooler Although they hate boruto's attitude towards og characters

This was based on a one shot manga and Fun fact : when Log is holding the lighter in the manga he smoking a 🚬 but they to censor it in the anime same goes with Shikamaru as well

I like that they’re team 7.

Well I never had a problem with it. After watching the new team 7 since day one until now, I can definetely say that they are my favorite in terms of teamwork and chemistry. OG team 7 was mostly about Naruto and Sasuke with Sakura being sidelined most of the time. They were good as individuals no doubt about it, but as a team not so much. I prefer new team 7 because they are all treated as equals, unlike OG team 7.

Misaki's story is that his character is similar to Sai

The team 7 thing doesn't bother me and let me explain why. Before our naruto team 7 there was a team 7 before that and after boruto team 7 there will be a team 7 after that so the 7 is just a number for a team in my opinion. So whether it was 7 or 3 or any other number it wouldnt matter to me. It's a different team with a different sensei and students so the number is just a number of a team for me. Idk about anyone else.

Mitsuki is my favorite character. Since he is a artificial human, he is learning how to behave like one and he chose Boruto as his role model, that's why since the first episodes he calls Boruto he's sun.

I never got what you got out of this episode. I believe Orochimaru was attempting to create free will. All of his other versions of his child were tied too tightly to him so he arranged a test to confront his child with the knowledge of their creation and a stimulus to break away from him and live a life that they chose. We can only see if that will be the case.

Them getting team 7 doesn't matter at all to me. At first I expected it then when they didn't give it to them I was like oh well. It doesn't really matter

Not sure if you were aware Suzy,, but this episode was based on a standalone manga chapter. Which means this episode was based on source material and is not anime only like a lot of the other episodes.

12:57 Suzy shouting "Get a girlfriend Orochimaru!" was so funny, hahah. But I am glad that you still remain critical of Orochimaru's methods. While I don't doubt that he genuinely loves Mitsuki and wants him to grow and learn, the way he tries to teach him to be independent is very calculated and unnatural. During this "test" he wipes his child's memory multiple times, deceives him, even plays with his feelings a little and lets Suigetsu wound him. Basically, his end goal is good, he wants Mitsuki to be his own person, capable of making independent decisions. However, the way he goes about it is quite questionable. This is great character development for Orochimaru, because it is realistic. Being a parent can make you fundamentally reevaluate your priorities, motivations and views. Even if Mitsuki is an artificial human, he is still Orochimaru's creation. That's why Orochimaru is so invested in Mitsuki's development and he even wants him to choose the pah of light, instead of the darkness. However, we also see that it is difficult for Orochimaru to completely change. He is still willing to manipulate people and conduct immoral experiments if it is necessary to achieve his goal. Fortunately, this time, his goal is not to destroy, but to nurture, support and protect. Long story short, Orochimaru loves his chid, but you still absolutely can't trust this guy. I hope in the future Mitsuki's friendship with Boruto will lead to more character development with him and Orochimaru. Although, in the end, I think Orochimaru will forever stay a cunning, slippery snake. That's part of who he is, andNaruto/Boruto fans will always both hate and love him for that. As for Mitsuki, his childhood is far from normal, but his 'parent' did their best to guide him in the right direction, and now he is truly happy, because he is free to learn about the world, and his wonderful friends will be there to support him on this journey.
