Remember when 400 damage used to be special for the T34 at tier 8 outside of TDs? And that was a heavy. I'm not enjoying the power creep.

It is how they are nerfing the premiums, since they don't want take risks of law actions: power creep eveything else. Waiting for a M5 Stuart with 150 dmg 10 years ahead.

@@falcon6329 Nah, I've killed dozens of em. It's a shit tank. Like the other guy said, even the Type 59 is better, and the Type is by no means good nowadays. Back when I bought mine, the Type was meta, but it's been powercrept to hell and gone.

100% WG made that contract with Dune months ago, then the strike came and the movie got delayed, but the CEOs of Filmmakers didnt care, so now we have the WG collab at the time where the movie would be running for a week now if it wasnt delayed due to the strike.

40% / 33% camo on a medium this big + 451m viewrange without even using optics. Equipment 2.0 really turned this whole game on it's head and I'd argue there's a big oversaturation problem with both camo and viewrange in WoT since.

true. What could help tho is to limit the usage of CVS (and perhaps Exhaust as well) to only light tanks. Which are currently rather underpowered. Those things would help make light tanks relevant again.

@@robinkhn2547 light tanks are already the most important tanks in the match because of CVS being mandatory on them. There's not many mediums that can use CVS let alone are willing to smack it on. If anything making it light only would make tons of maps WAY worse with regards to draws and ultimately make light tanks the most influential tank type in the game.

Yeah its sad to see how far WG has fallen, WOT has all this powercreep and manages to have less content now then it used too, so many removed maps the game feels stale. WOWP its dead and WOWS is going bad fast with the introduction of subs and op carriers, 5 years from now WG will only have russian playerbases

Agreed, I think TD's and heavies should never have more than 420m view range, Mediums to never have more than 445m and lights the only tanks that can have over 445m range.

Hey @quickybaby, I've recently bought an AMX 50 100 and tried to play it. This old heavy tank was always very dangerous on the battlefields, yet the power creep caught it. The last appearance of this tank on your channel was 10 years ago. If you could bring us some memories of the old gameplay with an episode about 50 100 and it's place in current meta, many of the older players and viewers would definitely be grateful. Thanks!

Problem with this tanks is that 0.28 acc becomes 0.5 when tanks moves slightly. Zero gun handling. Should have made it better to make it stand out at least in one area.

Thanks for the review. I actually assumed that it was a reward for grinding through the 40 stages as usual...I already started planning. But seeing that it still requires gold and is such mediocre at best...I won't even bother as a f2p player.

Personally I'm really loving these futuristic wild designs with the visual effects. But if anything I'm really hoping for apocalyptic skins based on the vehicles in Steel Hunter because hot damn how has that not happened yet

it's so annoying for F2P players, i only have 400 gold and I can't do anything about this. They could have made the unskined variant for free and the skin for the extra gold. ( + more rewards for the gold)

The style reminds me of something from WoT Blitz. That worries me, ever so slightly. Blitz was a “Historical Shooter” at one point as well. If this stile goes over well with the community, what’s to stop WG from straight up adding in completely fake tanks and turning the PC version of this game into Blitz 2.0? Don’t get me wrong! I love the styling on this tank. I think it looks spectacular! That being said, my previous point above. ^ ^ ^ ^ I will do my best to grind out this battle mission pass marathon. I do want the tank. I just wish it was in a different game. Know what I mean? There’s my two bits. I just don’t want to see what happened to Blitz happen to this game. Totally agree what qb said abt the visuals of the tank. World of tanks is slowly becoming fully focused on arcade, maybe that's wgs coping mechanism to keep the game relevant. Their teams might forsee a better outcome but all i see is world of tanks beconing tanki online in a few years ngl

Yes, it needs its own tab to disable because it doesn't simple appear like it doesn't fit it, it doesn't fit in at all, and more likely belongs on console or Blitz then it does on PC.

now it sounds crazy but i really think i will enjoy this tank because of the small dpm increase and its low amour i hated the 122 because its armor was over relay able i had so much faith in it i always just get smacked around in the cupolas and as it plays so much like the tm i might enjoy the gun similarity never did i think more amour was worse in this case

I wonder, If you can adjust your angle front and back with hydraulic suspension - why you can not do it "side-ways" too, like leaning to right or left and get better angle that way ??

Would be my guess that it’s because in reality the front suspension and rear suspension are locked together. Front can only go down if the back goes up, kind of thing. Not gonna lie though. It would be super funny to have a tilting tank. 😆

It's a shame that premiums are so OP now that vehicles like this look disappointing. This tank a few years ago would be consider OP or at the least, exceptional. I appreciate Wargaming has been doing better with not adding OP premiums all the time, but they need to either adjust the other premium vehicles OR buff up tech tree and not so great premiums to he on par. That way, they avoid nerfing premiums, but just made everything around them on par which essentially accomplishes the exact same thing.

I feel the same way, its good to see them putting in vehicles that are decent enough but not OP and later they have space to buff. Aslong as they dont repeat the mistake they made with 268/4, minotauro on release im fine with getting new techtrees that are slightly underpowered and the buffing them to match the others

They should have kept the scum and shit from getting this bad. Keeping premiums not as good as tech tree but with other bonuses. Now we have an extremely unbalanced gap in this game and the only way you can be viable is by draining your wallet and time. No wonder this game is dying.

I don't mind it honestly... as long as a premium tank is either shit or balanced most people wouldn't care if its in the game. Tanks like the Lowe, STG Guard, T103, Astron, cheif prototype, etc. should be the standard of what premium tanks should be in this game.

*Good:* Alpha and aim time. *Bad:* Paper armor and FIFTEEN SECONDS reload! *Summary:* Hard pass (unless for the mega tank collectors). Sure you could grind this to get 1-3 new commanders with unique voices.

Bought a tank out of pure curiosity... And here's a surprise! A tank that serves only for sniping and an "opportunity" tank IMHO. Such bad integration of hydraulics has not been seen for a long time! The tank is just a cover to take time or money. The udes 14/5 is a miracle for this tank!

I don't think it's a good idea to infer that the win ratio equates to how "good" a tank is. I think what win ratio actually shows is what tanks the good players are playing. Good players will make a bad tank have a good win rate just like bad players can play the best tank in the world and it doesn't really change their WR.

Not gonna lie I was kinda annoyed that they revealed this extra BP tank so late, cause I was already running low on time to finish the actual BP, meaning I wouldn't have time to finish both. But after seeing that it's kinda mediocre and I can't even get it F2P, I'm not that bothered by it anymore. Just gonna finish the regular BP and then see if I have some extra time to get couple rewards from this one.

I think that the numbers for the armor are wrong. I tested it with my clan mates and my Ferdinand had a hard time penning it from the front and my CC 56 adn CC-67 just couldn't. Still, I first read Dune back in the 70's and I love that series (the Frank Herbert one, the others ones not so much) and I grew up not too far from where Denis Villeneuve lived so I will get this tank :) I don't think I will be able to complete 40 stages in 11 days however...

yeah but in longer engagements against higher tier, this thing will come out on top. KPz can easily dominate a tier 8 match but once you get into tier 10 heavy/td mm, you really feel the limit of its small alpha unless you find grille or fv4005. Could use better dispersion on the move though as of right now its got skorpion gun handling which works both ways

Dang why are the dispersion values so horrendous on this thin armor tank? I think it should have decent dispersion when moving around since it's got nearly no armor + wacky gun depression. I'm having Chinese T9 LT flashbacks thinking about it. I'm still getting it because I'm a sci-fi nerd and play German meds lol

Love Dune, reading the books at the moment. I like the look of the tank in another game but you right it does not fit in. As per usual WG is selling a poor performance tank. Did not bother with the Obsidian and I will not be bothering with this one either.

I didn't think much of the Obsidian to begin with either, turns out to be a heck of a lot of fun; the armour is very trollish at the best of times, and even a pew pew gun ain't half bad on it.

Another GSOR 1010, erm, I mean German tier 8 premium. WG seems to have found a rythym of releasing tanks with similar gun handling to the GSOR 1010, but with better mobility. This new tank, and the T3 Jager seems so similar to me.

Ok does anyone know the answer? I was in a Frontlines game, got out and had a Chrysler K in my garage. It says mission completed? I am a veteran, but see nothing about getting a tank. I have no idea???

I did not like this clunky automatic hydropneumatic suspension system on the UDES mediums, but then, they at least get decent gun depression when it is active. But a measly 9 degrees even WITH the suspension activated? And that with a turret that is made of paper? That sounds VERY bad to me ...

I don't think the reason for the tank to be locked behind paywall has anything to do with Dune IP. In previous cases (Shtpktptksptptptktp or 56TP), you could get base tank for free. Buying extended BP unlocked the 3D skin and ability to purchase individual stages. In case of this BP, base tank is Kpz 68, which has nothing to do with Dune. Even more, free BP gives you Dune themed crew member. The only reason i could think of is that perhaps previously extended BP didn't sell as well as WG projected. So they came up with this idea how to milk players some more.

T 832, the only other collaboration tank was also paywalled, so it indeed has to do with Dune.

@@syNM94Except T-832 was just it. You could not get the T-832 without "Terminator" skin. Here, there is absolutely nothing from Dune in the base Kpz 68. And you can choose whether to play it with or without Dune themed skin. That being said, i have not read the books, so maybe Frank Herbert actually mentions "Mittlerer Kampfpanzer 68 (Porsche)" somewhere. In that case yes, it would fall under Dune IP.

QB/anyone else having an issue when applying camo to this tank? I wanted to put the Harkonen skin (Without Mercy) on, as i think it looks good. Even though I have the skin in my garage, it wants to charge me 160 gold to do so?
