What took Hirano so long to get to this point? Really happy for her to win the whole thing. But she better prepare for her opponents adjusting to her modified tactics again. But I do believe Hirano became a better and more complete player. She knows how to vary the speed and spin. Let's hope this nice girl can really keep this up. Winning against Kuai Man is impressive but nothing compared to upending Sun Yingsha. A huge congratulation to Miu Hirano!

I expect Miu to get massacred by Sun, but it has clearly been a very good tournament for her. Two good second rank Chinese put to the sword in some comfort. Probably, 2023 has seen her best table tennis since her 2016-17 hot streak. Just don't mention Bruna Takahashi and Lilly Zhang. Naturally, I hope she amazes me in the final. Edit.
