Damn I feel like my past just came back to hunt me from the 60s and 70s ....everything on that runway I had as a kid and teenager all the strips and crazy patterns and those swim caps with the flowers my mother wear all that ...... This is what I Lov about MUI MUI...she is one of my fav designers you never know what she's thinking...
Sorry but Gigi is, in fact bigger than the standard or avarage high fashion model and it's acceptable in her case because why?? If a model without a Hadid last name developed jiggling thighs or gained little fat on her legs, she would be sent home straight away by her agent and casting managers. not fair
"I don't have a problem with the fact that you're a curvy girl on the runway, I support that. But if it was me with your same measurements going to a casting they would send me home to lose weight. Most of us have to conform to extreme measurements because otherwise we won't book any jobs while others have the privilege to say that designers love them despite their curves. Youthful...which Miu Miu is often known for....but some of this comes off a bit junior, no? Either way, I see some beautiful prints and gorgeous coats....and quite possibly, the new "it shoe" of the coming year.
All of the unknown models (not Gigi, Taylor, Sara, Anna, etc.) give me *Daughter of rich eastern European men who are short and can't walk but still want to model so their daddies pay for them to be in the show* kind of vibe
