I am selling diy dishwashing liquids...will it work on a 17 liter mixture right after making my dishwashing liquids? I mean i will use this idea to enhance the quality of my product... May I know the measurement for 16 liters??
@@maryannapolinario5980 I am not the owner of this recipe; please ask the poster of this video, 'simple & fast' and they may be able to tell you. In case they can't, figure out how many cups there are in a liter and go from there. I hope that helps.
I’m watching from Scotland 🏴 and will definitely give this tip a try. I loved your video style, no annoying music or pointless chatting just straightforward facts…keep up the good work!
Nah see its missing one simple thing, video quality that can go down to 120p which is somehow higher quality than 240p and yet both are lower quality than recording on an ancient phone camera with so much grain it would make farmers jealous
Tried this recipe two months ago and I’m still using this soap today. I run through dish detergent tremendously quick, but this mixture alone boosts the phrase “ a little goes a long way”!
The bubbles are caused by the detergent ( I suppose it is dish soap, because She doesn' t say what kind it is). I am grateful for the advice, but ALL that She " cleaned" was clean and NEW! She should see my BURNED pans!!!😂
I'm a cook at a military base with a busy kitchen. You can just imagine the state of our pots and pans. Since replacing them all would cost a fortune, I will certainly be trying this solution. I thank you, and our brave men and women in uniform thank you! I will take some before and after pics and will certainly be posting them.
If things get stuck in the pans don’t waste effort and time scrubbing, just fill with 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar (any vinegar will work even apple cider / I ran out during covid when everything was sold out 😂 so it works) put pots back on to a boil and it will get all the burned stuff out etc. It’s a tip my pops told me he was in the Navy and had to head the kitchens for a few tours 🤗I have 4 kids, and one who’s 18 that has his friends here all the time they cook in the middle of the night and leave the pots with soap so for days I have no idea they are burned and just disgusting… it works once pot was 2 weeks of pasta and sauce 🤢 I had my oldest clean it to see or he needed to buy me another, he used the hack an of course he didn’t scrub at all 🙄
First off, thank you both for your service. I was a military wife for 28.5 years. I used to be a first cook on a military base. I started from the bottom and we would use griddle screens on our pots to keep looking good. It scratches though. But it doesn't leave scratches in a toilet to get hard water stains off.
I promise you - the following ingredients mixed are a must in any kitchen and bathroom. . White Vinegar - baking soda - detergent - salt - Coca-Cola - toothpaste
I just tried this mixture! I used a microfibre cloth and washed all the front faces of my kitchen cupboards, cuts grease really well too...no hard scrubbing. I have a laminate type of face on my cupboards, not sure what its called. Awesome thank you for your soap recipe!
In commercial kitchens where I work, we sprinkle fine cheap iodized salt on oil spill (when they occur) and just leave it and walk around for a while and then sweep it all up. Makes the floor less greasy and no harsh chemicals needed, and best is that the mop does not get greasy and spread the grease everywhere else… this looks like a good idea especially because it does not use harsh chemicals!! 👍👍👍 I will give it a shot!!
I learned that from my mother decades ago. Baking soda is also excellent for oil spills, as well as absorbing eggs that may have been dropped onto the floor--we all know what a horrible, sticky mess THAT makes! But either salt or baking soda poured onto the broken eggs quickly makes the mess easy (easier) to clean up.
Of course it cleaned that pot with no problem because it's brand new. Come on people if you're gonna make a video do it right. Use a old dirty pan and a old dirty toilet, geez man.
Was thinking the same thing. " you call that dirty" so. . . What about a toilet that look like it shit itself 🤷. One guy used brick acid and after sitting for 15 min it was dissolving without even touching it yet. Just don't tell the EPA.
I use similar for stain remover. Dawn, peroxide and baking soda. Gets stains out that have been washed and dried … not always but more often than not. I agree with the no music. Relaxing video
@@joyflyinghawk2104 Yes it will, mostly because of the peroxide. But if it's blood or any other bio-material, I use a live bio-enzyme based product. No scrubbing required. Just add water, let it soak for as long as needed, keeping it wet so the little enzymes can work, and they will eat it all away. Completely safe. I live in Canada and use a the bio-enzyme product called EZ Clean. It's made locally in Alberta but they do ship out. Used a great deal in dog and cat kennels, and pet messes on carpet or anywhere else. There's a thousand uses for it. But for anything bio-based, this is my go-to product.
For counter-tops, work-surfaces & bread-boards etc, dip half a lemon in salt & use it to scrub the surfaces to clean & sanitise them. From England U.K.
@@theresascheepers2407 You could try boiling up the plant soapwort, 'Saponaria Officianalis' & using that to clean things & wash your hair. I think the other name for it is Bouncing Bet. Rosemary & Lavender branches can be ùsed to polish bannisters & wooden furniture. They have a little bit of natural waxiness in & smell nice. Adding Rosemary to homemade shampoo may help against dementia.
The sink wasn't even dirty. From where it started, I could have gotten that pot as clean by letting it soak for 15 min with a wet dishcloth on the dirty part and then wipe it off with the dirty pot. If you think that is "burned", you've never seen burned. I didn't watch after seeing that nonsense.
@@debralords8586agreed. This is just normal cleaning. Adding more salt and more bicarbonate will only leave residue if you don't rinse well enough. There is already sodium and carbonate in the soap!
This stuff is absolutely fantastic! This is so cost effective and quite safe around the kids. My helpers loves it and are using it at their own homes too. Thank you for sharing.Much love🫶
I made one-fourth of the recipe. I used it to clean a drip-pan from my cooktop that I had cleaned a few days before with vinegar and soda using another “you tube” recipe with good results except the pan coloring wasn’t acceptable. I used my mixture of this recipe to test it on this drip-pan and amazingly the pan was restored to looking new and shiny. I am very pleased and impressed. I then wiped my stainless sink and it too looks new and shiny. Thanks from Texas for your generously shared formula which was freely shared with you and now you have so generously and freely passed on.Blessings 😊 One-fourth of the recipe: 1/4 cup dishwashing liquid 1/4 cup distilled water 1½ tsp salt 3/4 tsp baking soda (⬆️which is 1/4 of a tbsp. Note: corrected from 1/16 tsp which is 1/4 of a tsp.). Combine ingredients into a bowl. Mix well with a hand whisk rotary blender to thicken the mixture. Pour into a clean container. I used a 3 ounce size Palmolive Dishwashing Bottle I had on hand.
@@Bambisgf77 You are welcome. I find the tiny Palmolive dishwasher detergent bottle so handy. Please note I made a correction to my math for the baking soda. Add 3/4 tsp. Baking soda and not 1/16 tsp. I discovered my math error when I made a second batch as it did not thicken up like the first batch.
The reason vinegar might discolour your pan is because its an acid and probably reacts with the metal of your pan. The recipy shown in this video is quite useless since its soap thats diluted with kitchen salt added and a bit of bakong soda. They all dont react or support eachother when combining

I'm sold, for this easy method really works, as I tried it on my pots and pans, and couldn't get over how new they looked when I was finished without having to scrub whatsoever like I used to with an SOS pad, in the process I'd break fingernails, so no more using anything but this easy combo that works! Thank you for the recipe. I will have to make this and try it. I'm from Evington VA. Hey one tip for cleaning out tea stains that I discovered for those metal cups that we love to use, hard plastic cups, tea jugs, etc. is put hot water in to fill all the way up and then dump in some dry cascade powder and let it sit for a while. Rinse out with NO scrubbing might I add and it is clean as a whistle. If tea stains are really old you may have to use a little elbow power to give it a light scrub but really comes out clean. Alka seltzer or denture cleaner works too. Just make sure you rinse it several times afterwards and sparkling clean it will be.
I worked in a restaurant. We would fill the sink with hot water & add a little liquid bleach. Soaked all the stained coffee cups in this & the stains were gone.
My Dad taught me this yrs ago. I cleaned the entire stovetop and its parts came out sparkling clean. It was very common in those days . Im glad you are sharing it with the world. Vinegar has many uses as well which Im sure you know.

I make a baking soda/dish soap "paste" to wash any containers that may have held such things as pasta sauce, or any kind of high fat content food. Works beautifully to remove the grease left behind so that it never goes down the drain. I use paper towels for the initial clean for that very purpose---to prevent grease going down the drain---although a cloth (😖...too gross to think of doing!) can be used if one doesn't like to use paper towels. I've used the salt/soap/baking soda mix for 62 of my 70 years after Mom taught me to make it up and use it.

@@rick_terscale1111 You have to be VERY careful adding vinegar to baking soda, as it will explode/expand, and spill all over the place! DO NOT add vinegar, then put the mixture in a closed bottle, or the bottle will explode. Put a SMALL amount of vinegar in a bowl and add a SMALL amount of this mixture to clean things.
Nothing in this video looks really truly dirty , not the sink , not the pot , not the toilet, so how can it really prove that this mixture can honestly clean. ?? I’ve seen worse cooking pots conditioned, can this cleaning mixture can really do its job ? There’s nothing here that suggest it can work
Well you can just use your phone to answer all your questions. Because salt in general is very helpful. It will help you to kill viruses and bacteria. How good the salt will work and react with gemicals, I honestly don't know. Depends on what chemicals they used in the soap. Thus in general, 'Salt 🧂' is very useful in cleaning. Also if you got a small wound, you could mix some water with salt and use it on your wound. It will definitely kill the bacteria and viruses.
I love and appreciate this video. I have all these ingredients already and I can restore my pots and pans!! Yass 👏🏾 ! Thank you from St. Louis, Missouri in the Midwest of USA 🇺🇸!!
Fun fact. Ever noticed some kitchen sponges have green scrubby areas and some have blue scrubby areas? The green ones can scratch areas that you clean. The blue ones will not leave scratches. Buy the blue ones
If you add the salt and baking soda first to the water (should be warm) and THEN mix it into the soap you would have a much easier time and create fewer bubbles.
@@stanleymoore4043 I have had great success getting out stsins in carpet using Zout stain remover. Don't use too much because it is very soapy. Wet the stain slightly, work in the zout, let sit for 10 minutes. Once the stain is gone use a vinegar and water rinse to remove the excess soap. (If you don't the "stain" will appear to come back in a few weeks as the soap attaches itself to any new dirt that touches it, sticking it to the fibers. A rug cleaning guy said they only use vinegar and water to clean carpets for that reason.
I saw the video and watched it about three or four times. Then I decided I need to make this I proceeded to use it and it worked amazingly well. I texted it on one side of the sink only and it's shiny shiny. Thank you for this great trip!

When I worked on my cars and had oily hands ,I used dish soap liquid and sprinkle a little salt into my hands ,been doing it for decades ,works great for getting ground in dirt off your hands .
If that's the case (using salt as an abrasive), I guess sand would work too? Similar to what they use in garage hand cleaners like Lava and Gojo. Or does it dissolve and do a chemical thing?
I'm a caregiver for developmentally and intellectually disabled adults in Albany Oregon USA and I used this on my clients disgusting never been cleaned steel sinks, (15 years of gross buildup) I did this 3 times and it's shockingly clean!!! TY
Baking soda works great for cleaning grease. My husband brought home a used kitchen stove that someone was giving away. The stove was fairly new but apparently the person’s main method of cooking was frying & something happened with the roof on the house & it fell in on the stove. I tried all kinds of cleaners to try to get the grease off of the stove (degreaser, ammonia, dish detergent, etc.). Finally I decided to try baking soda & it worked great.
True...once oil spilled onto the lining of my son's car boot We tried washing with soap and water, was unsuccessful It was achieved by mopping off the oil with baking soda Always keep a box of baking soda .. .
Are you sure the stove is still safe to use if something from the roof fell on it. Surely there's a reason they got rid of it. Get it checked especially if gas

The bottom of your pressure cooker is very clean ! My recipe for cleaning a burnt on the bottom pan is to be one to one to one : detergent , water , vinegar . Place a plastic lid in the sink so the pan does not sit flush with the bottom of the sink . Pour in the mixture just enough to 1/2 inch up on the pan . GO SHOPPING ! Come back in a few hours . 2nd hack . Use a container with a large enough mouth to put in a few quarters . This makes your salt/soap combo mix more smoothly .

Okay, haven't tried this but contemplating it. So let me share something that I learned back when I worked in a restaurant some almost 30 years ago. This is a hack for coffee pots. Specifically glass ones. I don't know about stainless steal or other so just be mindful. Waitresses were usually responsible for washing out the coffee pots, and after being used all day, they'd be stained with coffee at the bottom and sometimes around the sides. So, while the pot is not hot, add maybe a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon would probably work too to be honest. A few cubes of ice (or a small scoop if it's smaller ice cubes - like those that come out of ice machines at restaurants and such) and a little bit of water. Preferably cold so that the salt does not completely disintegrate. You CAN add a little bit of dish soap if you want, but it's not necessary as we're just trying to get the coffee stains from the bottom of the pot. CAREFULLY, swish the mixture of salt, ice and water (when I say a little bit of water, I mean like...1/8 cup? 1/4 if you wanted) for a minute or so - depending on how stained the inside of the pot is. Adding baking soda would probably do wonders as well, but we never used that so I've never tried. After you are done switching it around, rinse it out and proceed to clean as per usual. Note: when you put the salt and water in, don't make it a point to mix it like in this video. There's no need. The point of the salt is to be a safe abrasive on the inside of the glass coffee pot to help get rid of the stains.
I was told to use this method for coffee pots when I worked in restaurants as well. However, we also squeezed in a wedge of lemon and tossed it into the pot with the rest of the mixture. It worked great!

Using the scouring side of a sponge like the one shown here on metal makes etches that encourage the growth of bacteria and stop your stainless steel from having its original shine. Use the scouring side of the sponge on non-scratch surfaces only! Like… porcelain/ceramic stoneware (not with coatings) and glassware. Don’t use on plastic or metal surfaces.
