André Firmiano Not really, this is all I know. Back then Emo was a music, now it's a fashion. It's really sad and that's what happens whenever profit can be made.
thanks so much for this Playlist . I have so much of this material and it's scratch to shit . growing up in N.J I have played shows with almost all these bands . great memories ! thanks again .
Glassjaw doesn't really count at all when you consider they sucked in the 90's and didn't put out a worthy release until their first full length in 2000. The only official release they had in the 90's was the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang EP in 1997 and that is not very memorable. At The Drive-In is acceptable for a list like this.
@@pechondelgado Not to mention that everyone knows ATD-I. This list is great because it's bands I've never heard of, and I thought I knew a lot about emo.
Found so many great bands through this comp - already knew Boilermaker, Chamberlain, Ethel Meserve, Boys Life, Jejune and Christie Front Drive is one of my favourites but holy smokes
Check out Shoulder's LP "Touch". Pretty sure either Trav or Simon have it uploaded. It's in the same vein as Falling Forward with a bit more melody. (And some really cool string pieces through-out the record.)
