We decided to do another travel vlog as we ventured across Spain. We flew into Barcelona and then to Mallorca. Went all over Mallorca, and then flew back to Barcelona for a few nights. The trip was amazing and we loved every minute of it....until the last night. Some really scary stuff happened our last night and all I can say is that I am glad we are both safe. I plan on uploading a video soon about everything that happened....Stay tuned.

Santiago, La Coruña, Town of Sada Local Police target Americans beautiful town. When visiting this town of Sada be advise of the SEVERE CORRUPTION in the local police. This police force targets American visitors with heavy fines and and physical threats. I am a American veteran handicap with a U.S. handicap certificate issue by the US government. Two local officers harassed me daily about where I parked. Local government officials due nothing about the issues and they are well aware of what they are doing. It appears to them that when we enter Spain to visit we are no longer disable. Yet every other city we visited in Spain and Portugal have me no issue about my handicap placard. WE RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE PLANING A TRIP TO SADA STAY AWAY AND CANCEL. We do not recommend this town at all even dough it’s beautiful.

Hi Dr Cellini! You probably won't read this but back in 2014 I went to Portugal, France, and Barcelona Spain. It was a religious pilgrimage. I saw that beautiful church in Barcelona (inside too). One thing I remember vividly is how often our tour guide told us to watch our belongings because theft was very common there. It made my mother and I very paranoid and so sorry you had that scary experience! Glad you are both safe and sound! Beautiful vlog and Happy belated birthday Adriana!

Never been to Mallorca or Barcelona but I was in Madrid back in 1984 when I was 17 and I was mugged right outside my hotel on the Gran Vía when I was at the corner waiting for the light to change. It happened very quickly! Two men in a motorcycle zipped by and snatched by handbag and pulled so hard, I fell on my knees and scraped them. The hotel doorman saw it and helped me get up. Thankfully, that was my last day and my passport and return plane ticket and the rest of my travelers checks ( yes, you read it right. We used them back then) were in my room.

Just got back from Barcelona. It was wonderful. Thinking about moving there. Rented a car and went to Andorra and Montserrat. You really need to go to Montserrat, take the railway all the way to the top, and walk the rest. The views and the silence were astounding.

I know this may be a stupid comment/question, so forgive me inn advance, but I don't know the answer. You mentioned in the video you could file a claim with your insurance company (who would potentially require the police report) for your stolen items. What type of insurance would this be? I am starting to explore traveling quite a bit these days and I think that would be very vital for me to purchase as I more so than not, travel solo. Hopefully my question makes sense. Thanks in advance.

Passport control was HORRIBLE in Barcelona. Prob a 2 hour line. Luckily I went straight to Mallorca so could bypass…

I'm sorry this happened to you, many people have this problem in Barcelona, only lately they said they will add more police. Unfortunately there are many minorities that live off what they can steal from tourists. I won't say what minorities but it s also a problem in Europe that people should sit and talk about educational programs for minorities. Idk if the thieves in your case were gipsies-roma people, but the problem is no one implements good educational programs for them. They came from India some hundred of years ago, and they can also be ofc good people that work normal jobs. I'm from Eastern Europe and I can tell that those minorities at least here are not causing much problems, but nobody invests enough in those communities. The whole EU should work together to find a solution, cuz it s also not nice to get stolen but also for those younger generations they can do better. 😥

Just got back from Aruba, met a couple - husband tested positive / wife negative - husband now is “stuck” in Aruba for 10 days before they will allow him to be retested. Note he is 100% asymptomatic and feels totally fine. It’s funny….I can have a million other types of viral infections which are equally contagious, but COVID we won’t let you travel. Oh okay🤣💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

If you had tested positive you would have needed to quarantine for 10 days in Barcelona or until you are negative. We both tested positive on the 12th day on our European cruise and quarantined on the ship for 10 days! Ruined our dream retirement 23 night cruise in May. Covid testing is no longer required for flying into the USA. European countries were making lots of money on Americans! Some of the passengers on our cruise tested positive at the airport in Rome and their passports were taken. They were shuttled to a Covid hotel for up to 21 days! If your spouse was negative you went alone. Nightmares ensued! Italy was the worst place to test positive! We were “lucky” we were still on the ship. We are staying in the USA now as I have PTSD from this experience.

Loved the video. My husband and I were in Spain in May and had to get the Covid test before leaving also. After we got back they dropped the requirement. It made me angry that the US government required the negative test for re-entry just after they told people they no longer had to mask on the plane. Made no sense to me. It would have been a big inconvenience if either of us tested positive and were forced to stay longer in Spain. I adore that country but needed to get back to work. Glad that part is over now. I am very sorry that you and your wife were attacked. I watched your other video. You did the right thing not fighting back. I had my purse stolen in Mexico City and Rome and it tainted both of those cities for me so I can understand why you wouldn’t want to go back any time soon. Best of luck with all your future travels.

Please tell Adriana that she is absolutely perfect. She is adorable. But the best is her clothing choices in every video segment. Cute, sophisticated, classy, elegant, just everything. Bubbly. Pleasant, comical. I’m a 45 y/o single, never married, no kids, NJ doc…..just saying If she’s got a twin sister, I’m interested :)
