Mixed media - altered box - step by step tutorial

Such a terrific box. Love all the texture you created. And the embellishments are some of my favorite, especially the dragonfly. The metallic paints used look very realistic. Amazing, and thank you!!

I just happened across as mixed media video about 2 hours ago and now binge watching a lot of them especially it seems in Russian. Love the really ecclectic look. I’m an old ecclectic person so I’d probably not do so much steam punk but I was thinking since I’m not going to add new supplies to my list that using silk flowers taken apart may give floral looks too. Like take all leaves and petals apart and rebuild it on top of boxes etc with lace, buttons etc. still 3D but a little tamer and less to buy as i have some. Going to experiment. Many thanks from this old hippie nerd. to all the young still creating and being individual.

I was glad you added the colors to your gears.....i GOT WORRIED WHEN THEY WERE ALL BLACK! ,..... this idea is really adorable...but why put the heavy Gesso on at the end?
