I am creating an interesting background for a magazine page collage. Thank You for watching. : ) Please visit my Etsy Store: www.etsy.com/shop/InasArtRoom
Thank you so much Mieke. I really appreciate your great feedback and yes the patterned magazine page was a great find and gave those flowers interest. : )
Wow! Even after just the first 2 1/2 minutes, I think it looks fantastic!!! Then it just gets even more interesting. You are so much fun to watch, Ina. You have an amazing eye for design. I’m so inspired by what you create and how easy you make it look!
Thank you so very much Danielle. This is a fun and easy way to create fun backgrounds and simple abstracts. So glad you like it. I appreciate your kind feedback. : )
Love this, Ina!! And look at how the flower petals appear to be made of 3-D texture! And, hard to believe, but I just recently "discovered" re stamping on tissue paper to use in mixed media. I can honestly say I learn something new every single day!
Thank you so much Vonalda. I am so glad you are watching and taking time to comment. I can see that your art is blossoming and yes, there is always something new to discover. : )
I like your new collage very much again. Making the flowers out of pieces of paper is really great and makes it exciting and interesting. You think about how the flowers were drawn, with the great pattern, it's paper. I probably wouldn't have covered the sweet (😁) young man. Otherwise just perfect. Thanks for the inspiration and I wish you a nice weekend. Be careful. ❤👍 LG vom Tinchen
Thank you so much Tinchen😊. The pattern on those pages were a lucky find. and I am glad you like the way it all turned out. I am so glad that my work inspires you. Thanks so much for all your encouragement and taking time to watch and comment. Big Hugs LG
Such a huge fan!!! I watch RU-vid in bed every night and I'm so excited when you have a new video. Your finished pieces are fantastic. Do you ever question what you are doing when you are part way through? I'm learning SO much from you!! Keep up the great work!!
I WILL keep my art work going and yes I do have to step away at times from my projects part way through,, to evaluate where I am going with it. Sometimes everything just flows, other times it does not LOL Just like everything else in life, successes don't come without set backs,. The great thing with art is that everything is repairable, and can be redone and the journey of creating is the fun part ,no matter the result. Thank you so much for your great feedback Patty. I so appreciate your kind words and I am pleased that you enjoy my videos. Talk to you soon. : )
Hi Ina...So fun to watch you do this piece! Of course you know I'm loving all those layers! I especialy love the printed tissue...I have a roll of that too and use it sparingly becuase I alsways want to have some on hand! I've been working on pieces to get ready to deliver to a gallery on May 2nd and then we're taking off on a couple of small trips to get used to our new RV!!! (more about that later) So I've been MIA with my hands and studio full! I hope to slow down a bit and chatch up soon. Again...fun painting, I love the face showing through!
Thank you so so much Denise. I guess this is a very very simplified version of all the layering you do. I am so pleased you like it. You sound like a busy bee and it must be exciting to have a gallery show coming up. You will kill it like always. Congrats to the new RV, can't wait to hear more about it. We are taking off on our 1st camping trip of the year as soon as we can. Colorado weather is again undecided. Ha. Thanks again for watching. Talk to you soon. : )
Love this piece! The background is so interesting and complex. The abstract flowers are awesome! Really fun to watch you put this together! It is awesome!
Thank you so very much Ann. Check out my friend Denise Cerro (she has a Utube channel under her name) ,she is a master at this type of mixed media collaging. : )
Ina, what was the white supply you used to mark around the flowers. Love the layers, composition, and how your flowers turned out. . Where can we purchase real onion paper? I too use tracing paper, tissue a d deli paper, and I hear the real onion paper is very special.I think, I may play with a similar theme, using my collage papers. Sure would be fun ( for me at least 😎) to hang out with you in your art room-studio. Bet we’d get some laughs in and I could selfishly draw inspiration “up close and personal” with your intuitive creativity. You always do such wonderful pieces of art, Ina, no matter the medium or subject manner. I,still think about the lovely fish assemblage. ”Have a nice weekend and I hope the weather is good enough, to get out and walk around beautiful Colorado. It’s been a typical late winter-early spring her along the coast of So.Maine. Maine too is a beautiful state.
The white outline was also done with a Gelato. I am so glad you like the way this came together. I found my tracing paper in a thrift store, but I presume you can find it online too. Have fun with your collage. I so appreciate your lovely feedback Cheryl and yes hanging out together would be fun. Maine is a long way from here, but who knows. LOL Thank you so very much for all your encouragement and kind communications. Have a lovely Sunday. Big Hugs
