Cindy's journal is so pretty. Perfect for everyday thoughts and ideas. Gayle, I was intrigued by this idea from Twila Sue from the get go. I had this funny image of Santa and his crew all clocking in at the North Pole for a long days work, Mrs. Claus, too. Hanging out at the water cooler during breaks, swapping funny Christmas stories and ALL wearing their ID tags. 😊❤ For sure, your signature and finger print would be same as Santas if your household was anything like mine. I did ALL the shopping, wrapping and most of the decorating. 🎁🎄 These were all so darned cute, Gayle. Great fun. Huge Hugs, Gayle.

Sears Christmas catalog was a big part of Christmas when I was a child. My mother, sister and I would go through it while sitting at kitchen table. It was totally a different time. Thanks for reminding me of it. The ID cards are really cute and will look great in the Christmas journals.

Just an additional thought on those 1st 2 identification tags you did. How about using your slotted punch to make it look like they came off of a lanyard? Did you know that Santa Claus has an actual address? It is 123 Elf Road, North Pole 88888. I sometimes write it on the post cards I use in my journals..

Good morning, Gayle! I just shredded a bunch of old duplicate checks and saved the Manila type backs…I’m going to use them for this ID idea! Newbie question: I could only find Distress Oxide, not Distress Ink;(locally); is that ok to use for distressing the edges?

Your Santa Id was great - I love your stamp of the big twinkling Santa …. the fussy cut Santa would be good for more identification labels next weeek - just suggestion to perhaps cut your card stock perhaps an inch and half larger all way around - as gives you some space without the whole card appearing crowded … if you stamp the empty label first , use your trimmer then to cut around like it would give you a border … I liked how you made your thank yous (Roxy challenge ) , such a pretty idea to use digital & scrapbooking paper with other ephemeral “use it up” lace was pretty addition …. Have you given any thought to your “word” for 2025 - maybe you could ask all your subscribers to make suggestions to help you (?) - “Wing it Wed” might be good name for you ; for Wednesdays instead of challenge day - take care xxx Ps I love your stamping esp when you use a lot of colours of ink . 🦋💖🌸🌻🌈😎🎀 Another idea could be to use your index cards & perhaps make these into letters or postcards to Santa Claus - stamp To: Santa ; Nth Pole & put on wishes ie a bike; a book ; but also quality Wishlist - ie, kind, kindness, grateful, laughter, joy , peace , holly , holy , love ❤️ merry , - like 4 or 5 qualities on each index card. And then place a faux postage stamp on top also. 🎉 just an idea
