Beautiful canvas. I love the metallic effects and all the texture. You are so right about colours. Everyone has their own ideas on how to do things. I always say to people, it’s your piece of art…..do what you want. Love your result. Thanks.
I love how this turned out. I like how you use stuff you don't have to buy. It's amazing how it looks like metal when you think about what is really under the layers. This is a project I will do for sure.
You got me with the pearls as nail-heads, then the treatment of metallics over the dark backgrounds! This is another work of art from a talented artist! Blessed and safe days!
Love this, my metallics like that got dry and I added coconut oil from the cheap store..smashing until it had proper consistency again..work well to rejuvenate it! Just a tip..
Oh my ignore those who tell you what shade or whatever to use. Everything you do is just right! I absolutely love your art, especially this one. You make it look so easy to do and use whatever is available and less expensive. Just keep on keeping on!
Noit, so good to see you. Love this project !! Love how you were able to get the metal look. Love the feather.Hope you are doing well 🤗❤Always a good day with you in it !😊 Thanks so much for the inspiration❤
Tag hoarder here. I started keeping them a few years ago with the idea of creating something in a art journal and never got around to doing it. This is a great concept on how to put a canvas that you no longer want to good use. I have tags, I have canvas and now I have a idea as to where to go. Thank you for sharing your project. I can't help but smile each time you say "cheap store."
The first painting is beautiful and what my heart is after. The second piece is beautiful too, but in a different way. I lean towards the less heavier look, however, both of your pieces are totally awesome !
Love how you did the background, genius! The use of plaster compound is a great idea, much more economical. I can't wait to try this project out. Thank you♡
Another comment I have for you is thank you for keeping this as many of your videos simple. I can't afford a lot of what the other artists use and you're a breath of fresh air
Oh wow is that ever pretty. I have tons of paint chip samples and those will be perfect size and shape etc to do this with. Very little cutting with most of those. So glad to see how you did the flat back beads as your nail heads. Absolutely perfect.
Beautiful project. Again wonderful inspiration for something I have in my stash. I have some cards tag size I have enough to do a project like this and to make my tag book. Noir you are so very creative and talented. Your channel is one of my favorites. Have a great day.
Wow! This is beautiful! I’ve got so many tags collected and this background is amazing. Can’t wait to do this. Thank you for teaching me to use joint compound. It takes very well and is not as costly as the texture paste. The little pearls are a genius move!
Thank you again for the great techniques... another one for me to try... Also loved that you shared how to make black gesso... I have white but not black paint and baby powder. Beautiful project! All the best to you.
Tried this, I’m halfway. At first I thought it was a fail. When I rewatched the video I realized I forgot two steps. It looks much better. You are so talented!
Another gem from a very talented artist! This is really great and I love the faux nail-heads! I am going to make some tags using your method, or cards. I can see this technique as a great card for my male family members and friends. I appreciate you limitless talent, thank you Noit.
I just LOVE your work!!! I was just thinking about doing a texture paste stencil on cardstock, and cut it out for images to use. Then I saw your video. Now I know how it will look!!! I really like how you did the background. It's very cool & UNIQUE!!! Thx for video. Austin,TX USA
Gorgeous! Such a fun process! I love how the background came out! I hope you'll at least show us your final piece in your next video. Thanks for all you share with us.
No, it's just cut a butterfly shape from a cardboard and glued all kinds of stuff like beads and part of earings and then it's the same technique: cover with gesso, paint and highlights
Awww, I was at least hoping to see the finished product... I'm assuming it was the butterfly shown in the beginning? I agree that the feather wasn't going to be a great focal point. Loved seeing the process! ❣️
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge. I admire your work but didn't think I could do anything similar. Well, I got over that tonight, lol, and gave your background method a try. I already had a die cut butterfly as my focal point. Well, I made a few errors along the way but I cannot believe the results. Hugs to you Noit my friend. 😘
*Very Nice.... I was Happy to learn about using canvas for a variety of things. I'm loving your creations.... Thank You ever So Much. Keep the Fun in All you do. 😁😁😁* Sharon in SC
You put a lift in my day when I'm tired or down. I'm wondering if you prefer a thick paint over a bottle of latex which is thinner? If not, when do we use thick or thinner paint?
