Do u know what’s the beauty of ur channel? SIMPLICITY!!!! U present everything in a very simple manner that even a beginner could assimilate even minor things... keep going. God bless
Super good video. Great for a beginner like me who is trying to start mixing an album but has no idea where to start. also it seems like most mixing tutorials are like over an hour long and this one pack a lot of good stuff into only half an hour. thanks!
A Huge Congratulations on your new Milestone...You deserve it entirely...You're a Blessing to the platform and for us female producers...wishing you many more 🎉🙏🏾💜🎶
i love your videos!! theyre truly helping me learn. im going to be getting logic soon and your videos have been super educational and you really make things easier to understand. thanks for doing what you do, its appreciated!!!!!
Tip at 18:37 about 808s and kicks is really helpful, especially when you have kicks that are literally 808s themselves and the tone of kick and seperate 808 clash so much respect for that 100.
Please don't take this the wrong way. Why female producer?? That is just a way for men to keep women down to just a female producer or just a female rapper. You're a Producer! Great one at that! Love your vids your music. Very talented!!!
Thnx for a great channel. Just wanna say you really should change your metering to "pre fader" so you can see the real gain thru your plugin chain. Otherwise you have no clue how hard the audio/softsynth are hitting your plugins. =)
I got a question if you could help me 🙏 Do you know why turning the pan completely on the left signal goes mute (just a bit of delay from faraway) and turning on the right ut stays in the middle? Thanks in advance.
Thank you Valentina. As a newbie to logic this was very easy explained. I had to subscribe!!! On top of that I love your voice it is beautiful. Already a fan x
I have a question, should every track be assigned to a different bus? Even for reverbs? Should all reverbs, based on the instrument family, be sent to the same bus? (I.e All drums reverbs will be sent to bus 5, all synths send to bus 6, etc.) thank you!
Great video BUt you didn't start from scratch... You already had all this stuff in there... I was hoping to be shown a vid demonstrating how to maybe even source the sounds... Great video tho! sozza for being nitpicky 🎷
I find everything is too quite when I mix my drums at -12, summed together they always hit -2 or -1. I don’t understand how to push the levels and give more headroom with remainging dynamics
An is a collection of audio recordings issued as a collection on compact disc (CD), vinyl, audio tape, or another medium. Why does Wikipedia told me that audio tape have to deal with cassette tape like here’s the definition of audio tape and that’s An , also known as a , or or simply a , is a sound recording and reproduction device that records and plays back sounds usually using magnetic tape for storage. In its present-day form, it records a fluctuating signal by moving the tape across a tape head that polarizes the magnetic domains in the tape in proportion to the audio signal. Tape-recording devices include the reel-to-reel tape deck and the cassette deck, which uses a cassette for storage and is audio tape and cassette tape are the same or are they different from each other and when mixing why on a album on a cd 💿 that you have to restart from the very beginning or there is a runtime so that you can see what number that you’re on or even the track that you’re on and also when mixing why is everything seperate and why is it seperate for until when it becomes the final mixing or final recording like r.e.m circus envy or what’s the frequency Kenneth?
Hi Valentina... Your voice is really magical... Your style rocks... Your music sense is too good... Way of teaching is awesome... Thanks for sharing knowledge with us :)
Idk...and maybe it’s just me, but these plug ins with its zillions of adjustments are just too much and too extra. I’m simple and to the point when creating an artistic expression but the tech used to micro adjust an expression (a sound in a voice for a song), for me, is pointless, excessive, time wasting and insane. Imma stick to my video editing and graphic design. I was seeking tidbits for simple musical/sound incorporating.
Not kidding you: as soon as you popped up and I heard your first few words, I KNEW you were the real deal and knew what you were talking about. Can't wait to dig into your tutorials and unearth my long forgotten mixing/mastering skills haha. Thanks for this!
I watched another video of yours and you did gain stageing wrong and hear your explanation is somewhat wrong if you haven’t already you need to address this
gain staging is more specific, when you lower the volume on the fader, you can end up cutting too much volume because there is no precision on the fader
Fucking subbed... clearest and very insightful video I've found on mixing. I'm sure you released it by now but I'll be copping your kit soon. Will go through your vocal mixing tutorial. I literally followed along mixing my own beat, was so seamless. I'm going to compare it to my unmixed session to hear the difference. Thank you so much. Will also check out your music.
Big fan 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (Only tip I’d add further for anyone reading this is add the gain plugin to your master and turn mono mode on so when you’re mixing the volume and effects of each track they sit sweet.. then once you’ve done that remove the gain plugin from the master and hear the magic) (Calvin Harris DM’d me back once and said mix the drums and vocal first in mono.. then everything else just sits in) 🤙🏻
Love your channel! I subscribed. I became a recording studio engineer and owner in the summer of 2020. I worked hard and learned alot in my first nine months, but I recognize that I still have alot to learn. Your channel is very helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Unfortunately it's a third party plugin by Waves. You can get a similar effect using Logic's Tape Delay Plugin. I've added a link for a tutorial ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xtoQuRhrFVw.html
I am six months late to this party and omg I’m so so excited to have come across this video and this very talented female producer! Like, there’s so much bro-energy on most music/gear/musician boards and videos and it can get overwhelming easily. But not this producer - I’m seriously !!! To have found this! I took notes while watching! Thank you so much!
