Thank you again for this amazing series ! It answers to so many questions. And I really like the overall song, but no wonder for a Ramones fan (this P-bass bassline, this straight to the point guitar riff... everything I love !). Hats off to you and your men sirs ! ;)
Dude, this video helped me SO MUCH! You explain things really well and the way you explain how things sounds helps, finally mananged to get my metal bass sounding appropriate!
Hey julian, ive been having some trouble with recording guitars. Whats your process on recording guitars? Do you play and record the whole song through, or do you ever loop guitar sections? How do you combine/mix 2 different takes together? Do you play on time or do you edit/mix your guitars(when needed) to get them on time?
i have to do a pseudo way of recording and straight wire the guitar to the audio interface and then use amplitube for an effect, i normally have about 3-5 guitars layered on each song and use the same amplitube setup/microphone setup, if i were to make the amplitube settings a lil different on each plugin would i be getting a more natural sound?
