Really all KNK members (except maybe Seungjun) can harmonize with each other. It's funny when they start to randomly harmonize in the middle of a vlive etc
Still watching this year 2020, quarantine time. This remains indisputable, hands down, the best performance of all survival shows I watched. This is what sharing of stage means, no one over powers another member.
IKR!!! And singing DBSK!!! LOVE IN THE ICE, an incredibly difficult song, this was my first time watching and I cried!! I didn’t expect them to be THIS GOOD. Being a Cassiopeia, I can tell this was not even the best Love in the ice cover, this was the best DBSK cover ever

That was pretty cool. I like how they changed some notes and some elements (i like how they did don’t be afraid twice) but pretty much stuck to the core of the song.

I remember watching Mixnine for Dreamcatcher then crying after watching this performance for two reasons, one being the fact that they successfully conveyed their emotions through singing, the other being the fact that this was totally overkill for the other group, which Siyeon (Dreamcatcher's main vocalist) was in. Honestly, the girls' team had nothing on them, both sang iconic songs but only around three members were properly singing in the girls' team, the others were shouting and trying to drown each other.

I don't know if they picked this song on their own or not but if they did, they made a wrong choice tbh. They are talented and have a really good voice and can harmonize well but there is only one of them(sorry I don't know his name) that can do the high pitch sound. The rest sounds like they are dying during the high pitch part. This song doesn't suit their voice. You can even hear the guy who sing the last chorus voice cracked.
These guys were desperate here.. if they choose a more comfortable song to sing, and in a competition at that, I don't think they could have made much of an impact. This group here, none of them were eliminated in this episode because they tried, all of them, to sing such a song with so many high notes that like you said, who most of them could only hit with difficulty, grabbed attention. Let's say they choose a song that could sound as good but a lot more comfortable for them to perform, maybe one or two out of these guys could have been overlooked and eliminated due to the differing number of fans that these guys have. In the end, despite it being a survival show where judges and trainers are a huge part of these guys survival , half of the fate of these guys lie on the audience. So yeah, doing this song, and showing the process is a good way to grab the audiences empathy especially helpful to those guys who don't have a good number of following. To be honest, I still kinda like listening to their struggling high notes. Why? It goes along with the desperation, pain, and struggle that the song is conveying. So either it was intended or not that their struggle goes along with the message of the song, it was a good choice. But hey, although there are so many music lovers, how many of the people really have good and critical hearing? As long as they put on a good show, and any pitchiness could hardly be detected, people would love it.
I'm sorry reading your comment makes me mad. I don't think they made the wrong choice I have cried listening to this song so many times. You're only listening to their flaws. This show was very intense many were up all night. So maybe don't judge them and appreciate their hard work. This was beautiful and definitely one of the best songs on this show. I don't think they sound like they're dying when their singing the high notes this song is very emotional and hearing their notes makes it even more emotional. Look beyond flaws, honey.
Skylar Winters I agree. They worked so hard and they sound beautiful. They sing so hard because it's an emotional song. I honestly don't see any flaws. I think this song is just too perfect for this group. I know it's your opinion but that is just me.
Idk if you've heard the original ver. Of this song,if you did then you would know how close it was to the original. And the guy you're saying to have a voice crack, his voice didn't crack,that's his natural voice.
