I wondered if those were Mixtiles in your background! FB and Instagram keep suggesting them to me, and being in a new house ourselves and having way more "house" than our previous home, I need easy ideas for decor, so these seemed like an attractive option. Thanks for the review. I couldn't decide whether or not to get them based on the price point and wondering if there were worth it. I think I'll take the plunge!
I really enjoyed your review. I felt it was very thoughtful, concise and useful. I think in the end, if you have the budget for them, they are a nice addition to the house. After I saw your wall and how you used a level to hang them, and how they looked when you were finished, I thought, I wish I could have you organize photos on my wall. :)
I just spent $300 on pictures lol it will be delivered today I was starting to get nervous but hubby really wanted them so we ordered them. Thanks for the inside tips
No! They are not! Mine came out horrible!! They were professional photos & shutterfly does a much better job. Glad yours came out okay. Customer service was bad too.
Shalat John not too good. A lot of them wouldn’t stick on my walls, I do have textured walls but I bought tiles from Shutterfly years ago that stuck with no issue. The adhesive just isn’t as strong. Good news is, if they don’t work out they refund your money which is nice
Thank you for the review! I was really on the fence about buying these. Btw, having worked in retail - you always pay for shipping. If you have Prime, your membership costs covers shipping. If a store says “free shipping” the cost of shipping is included in the price of the product - inflating the price of the product instead. “Free shipping” is a myth.
If you Google it you can get up to 40% off, just like I did. My will arrive tomorrow. I ordered on Saturday the 8th of July and it showed that I would get it in the 1st of August. When I got the tracking number it showed up that delivery date would be on the 14th of July. Only 6 days!!! And I live in Spain.
FANTASTIC review. I originally watched your video on how to hang pictures and was so impressed I watched this one as well. You are an excellent presenter and you present content that is truly helpful for folks like me that spend hours putting up 2 pictures and making 4 extra holes on the process!! After your video, I hung 6 pictures in less than an hour! I'm feeling so confident in my new skills that I will give Mixtiles a try next! Thank you!
Thanks for the review! Especially the detail about the quality of the frame, "matting", and picture! I'm going to say they are a no for me because of that quality. We plan to move in 1-2 years and I don't want to have to reorder if I change colors/schemes. If I buy frames at least I already have the images and can sell the frames afterwards.
@@CoralHoyt I have bought 30 of these and I love them. They are of my grandchildren and in one room they look great. I'm not finished and I have gotten % off & discounts. I'm not sure why the prices keep changing.
Mine didn’t stay stuck on my walls for more than 30-45 minutes. Quality of the images is pretty good, but they cropped out two of my images in very awkward ways that kind of ruined them. They won’t stop falling off my walls despite cleaning my walls beforehand. So disappointed
I’m seeing this in the comment section of all the reviews. Yet the person doing the review swears by them 🤔. I almost fell for it before I researched and found some reviews, NOW i feel comfortable passing on these!!!
I appreciate the ease in hanging and being able to take off and adjust as needed, but has anyone had them up for a long period of time and then removed them? Was there wall damage once it was removed?
I've haven't moved mine since I set them up. But I have been thinking about putting a desktop computer on my desk, so I would have to move them up if I do that. I'll let you know what I find if I end up moving them.
I really want to know more about the photo quality. I have pictures that I uploaded that look like they were auto adjusted for colour. I don't like the adjustment on some photos as the colours look more muted and less bright. I asked customer service if they would look similar to the original image or to the way that they looked on the mixtile website and they said that they couldn't tell me. If I didn't like them I could return them. I hate returning things, because lets be real most people do. I just want to have a sense of how they will look before I purchase them. Any thoughts on the quality of the finished product, does it look similar to the suto-adjusted version on the website?
Personally, I love MixTiles, I watched this after I got some, and I see totally your cons, but for me, the pros kinda outweigh as you said the cons, and when you said material design doesn't feel quality, it is totes a matter of opinion but for me, the maybe not so traditional frames look sleek and modern, especially on a white wall! But thanks for the review xoxo P.S: you said you wanted a frame, which turned out not so quality for you (even if I'm not totally sure about that, I see why you might be a bit disappointed) , but the model "bold" which you didn't really like looks great and is kinda more "quality"!!!
Thank you for your great review. In your review, you said the material doesn’t feel quality. Is it about how it looks or how it feels in your hands when holding it?
It is printed as if its on computer photo paper that you could do at home. I wasted $113. I wish I had used shutterfly & bought the frames and command tape instead.
Thanks for this review!! I’ve been looking around for someone to talk about the materials. You’re the only person to talk about the frame and matting! From all the pictures and videos I’ve seen I couldn’t tell the mat is just white space on the printed piece. That’s very useful information to know. I would be disappointed if I was expecting a mat and saw it was just white space. Do you regret getting the white mat frame? Or would you get the frame without the mat?
I appreciate your review, I will give it a try. Well said and organized! Thank you for sharing. We are looking to build as well, was it more frustrating than just buying a house out right?
Thanks! This is our first house, so I'm not sure if it would be more frustrating that buying an already-built house. It was a lot of work to make sure everything got done correctly, but the trade off is that you get to choose what you want in the house.
Good review, except I didn't think the cost was that much considering you are getting what are essentially framed photographs. May be able to save some money by generating prints and then purchasing frames but if you are going to have a professional job done, having one photo framed can easily cost more than the money you spent on your mixtiles.
I loved the review very good info....just i couldnt stop feeling she was gona cry as she talked lol mayb it was just me. Happy 2 say now they are only $11 bucks each 😍👍👍
Hope you didnt take it wrong...cause me n my sis loved your vid. Was super in formative and you are a beautiful person well hope 2see you again..hv a blessed day 🙏 frm San Antonio, Texas 🤠🐎
There are always a lot of sales and incentives and I straight up got 20 for the price of 10. And then they let you add 6 more for $30. I've spent so much on there lately to cover my room walls with my OTPs.
Would this ripped off my wall?? I bought a photo tiles from free prints and my wall it’s really sensible I wonder if perhaps there’s a chance that could happen bc oh man
It’s still too expensive! 9.00 per picture? No. You can print tons of pictures for cheap! Go to Michaels or Hobby lobby and buys these tiles for way less!! And!! Pretty soon other companies will be doing this for way cheaper! Not in my budget
