Miyabi is the fox-eared lady wielding a katana. She is a melee (sword) character who belongs to the H.S.O.S.G. faction. This is her full gameplay demo showcase along with previews of her skillset, talents, and animations. This footage is from a Highly Corruptive (High-Risk) Hollow commission fight.
Note: Since this is still in beta version, all contents are still subject to change by the game devs.

@@noru_noit won't be after zhu yuan unless they make her completely equal in strength to ellen. She's an ice element attacker, and if people feel like ellen has been powercrept it won't look good for hoyo. So unfortunately I don't think we'll see miyabi for at least a couple months. Glad to be proven wrong but I don't think I will be.

They say that her element might change since it would be too early for another ice dps agent to come out. Powercreep is real, but it's way too early, so an ekement change would probably be the best option unless her kit offers something that doesn't easily powercreep ellen

A bunch of upcoming element/character type combinations for the rest of the year leaked, and ice attack is still on it. I'd say the leak is reliable since it came out before confirmation about the 1.1 characters, and it has all of their archetypes on there.

I really hope so, it would be such a lame move against day one players who pulled Ellen to make her an ice attack unit, with (at least from the look of it) such a similar kit.

Hutao was released like 5 months after Klee and their power difference is overwhelming. I won’t be surprised anymore if Miyabi powercreeps Ellen. Hoyoverse being Hoyoverse.

@@lexxxie_52004but here is the thing, there is no content that needed extra power hu tao gives, klee can still decimate anything that is not pyro immune I really cant understand people saying there is powercreep to a completely pve game, and that said game doesnt even release enemies that old units cant defeat lol It will be the same for zzz, if anything, miyabi will provide another kind of playstyle that will suite the taste of those who doesnt like ellen's playstyle

Or maybe, her element doesn't change but her class is an anomaly rather than an attacker like ellen since in the CBT 1 there is no class clasification, so I think it makes more sense if miyabi will be an ice anomaly agent.

HoYo just LOVE to shoutout Devil May Cry. But since Miyabi uses Ice element, she's more like Jin Kisaragi from BlazBlue since he's also a Iaijutsu User plus also uses Ice. Also Jin was heavily-inspired by Vergil too, so that makes him his SON from another world.

curious to know if she's going to be easily obtainable. the game looks fine but I mainly just want to play her and if it's ridiculously difficult to get her (like a limited 5* in genshin) then I guess it's not really worth it for me

For now just progress on to the story then at some point you will automatically get 8 characters including her.

Limited 5* stars are actually easy to get, even for f2p there should be enough free primogems for at least 2 limited characters. The problem is if she is a standard 5* like Keqing, there's no guarantee you will get her. Someone spent $2000 to get Keqing back then because it's all based on luck when it comes to the standard banner.

the trailer made her look way more badass. her sword is not even glowing much or long on the field just for a split second in the ult animation. That's a bummer. She is this typical small, cute samurai, lots of the same ole slashing animation you've already seen in 10 other games before. Her gameplay really does look a bit underwhelming. I'd rather pick zhu over her.

Because they weren’t playing the character optimally. If you read the description of her basic attack, you don’t get ice damage until the 4th hit of her attack string. They were interrupting the combo by dashing needlessly all the time. They also didn’t use her sub attack that uses the 3 stacks under the health bar once in the entire video lol
