About the journey:
The hike is about 5-6 hours on foot (ONE WAY) starting from the guard house I signed my name on. Consider your time. There is no food, water, phone service or any store nearby, so be prepared. The View Deck indicated on Google maps is at the highest point. Make sure you have enough resources to go up and back down. From there, the falls is about an hour hike further away. On this date, the path going to the falls is only accessible by foot. The previous path is now covered by nature. Wear long sleeves and pants if you have sensitive skin to protect yourself from razor-blade grass. I DO NOT recommend going there alone. Only the locals know the way. Be respectful. They will help you, but help them as well. (food, clothing, money, etc.) Trust your instinct, be prepared, know your limits, and please, DO NOT LITTER.
