So many subverted expectations, and instant replays…(spoilers ahead): -We all expected Mizu to kick off her path of revenge starting with her childhood bully. Instead, she humiliates him in front of his peers and sets him on a path to redemption -After Fowler destroys Mizu’s sword, we all expected her to just build a new one. Instead, she saves the space metal for later. She’s too vengeful to rebuild it right now, and she knows it -Finally, Akemi never gets to be with the man she chooses, but for once, she gets to be the boss of two other men in her life: The new shogun and her old man

I love Mizu so much, she has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. I need to see more of her. I hope so much they will make more seasons.

Finished it in less than 24hrs. Awesome show. Mizo fine as HELL. That is all.

I really didn't know ANYTHING about this show before the trailer dropped and I watched it and I was blown away by the chemistry between Mizu and Taigan from enemies to potential lovers? like a R-rated Mulan (granted this Japan and not China) I think Netflix's greatest show they've geen-lit and I want to see more (granted I love Big Mouth but that's another show all altogether) I agee there was not a lot of marketing for this also let me shoutout Kenneth Branagh as Fowler he voiced a villian I loved to hate the sadistic tone as he was supposed to be Irish given he said we Brits in the 7th episode?

I just finished this series. It was an absolute masterpiece, and I enjoyed watching every second. I seriously hope Netflix renews it for a Season 2. Also, I would like to see Mizu as a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat.

this show, even though its just a show. I don't have the right words to describe it but it just kept me going in life regardless of my tragic past. It made me feel stronger mentally and possibly emotionally.

Best show in a decade! The story, design, cultural representation, persona development, the wisdom in the dialogue, the camera... Rewatching... Again and again, and discover something new every time.

Tbh mizu is the best protagonist I have ever seen because of the way they make her feel powerful but drop in pain to show that she is just as vulnerable as everyone else, along with a thousand other reasons of course

I started with one episode yesterday, before that I told myself I would watch one episode. Finished it the same day. GOOD GOSH WAS THIS AMAZING.

I read comments everywhere, in every platform there is (IG, Twitter, imdb, you tube, Reddit) and one thing the whole internet agrees on is that this show is most likely the greatest animated series ever produced by Netflix, possibly the best series they ever made altogether!

Blue eye samurai is straight up perfection in every aspect from animation to storytelling and character development, especially character development it's epic and blew me away. This video is not good for people to watch who have yet to watch it there are way too many spoilers. "Ovik" if you are a fan of the show then maybe at the start of this video you could put some text up saying (major spoilers?) it's just a thought so that others can experience this show in the same way as I did with fresh eyes.

I am really curious to see where Mizu's story goes after she gets to London (I'm guessing that's where she is going). Does she even know English and if not, will Fowler help her learn enough to get by? I wonder what her reaction is going to be seeing European culture and meeting British people or Europeans in general. And since its hinted Skeffington is her father I wonder how that's going to play out. I'm sure she's going to want to kill him but I wonder if he's going to talk her down first. It would be a huge plot twist if they had Skeffington and Mizu's mother being in real love but he was forced to leave because of Japan's no foreigner policy. Or he had to leave in order to protect Mizu from something else. I wonder if Mizu will have half siblings that are pure European and if they'll accept her or not.

there are two men in London, I know their names, I know their fates. also I wonder if they'll show us what happened to violet. maybe it could be used as a twist. like maybe Mizu thinks he is dead but he is actually still around or he was close to someone who will want revenge later in a very revenge is a cycle way (though I doubt either hipothesis).

Beste Animations Serie die ich je gesehen habe. !!!! Die Bildgewalt, die Choreografie einfach alles ist fantastisch!! Mizu hat mich ab Sekunde eins gefesselt. Und ihr Schicksal hat mich tief berührt. Ihre Charakterentwicklung und aller Beteiligten um sie herum war Klasse. Es Muss eine 2 Staffel geben !!! ACHTUNG Spoiler !! London kann sehr interessant werden. Da ja auch nicht bekannt ist, wer ihre Mutter ist. Vielleicht ist auch ihr Vater keiner der 4??? Was wird sie in London tun?? Zumindest ist sie ja jetzt auf Fowler angewiesen. (Sprache, Kultur.. etc. ) Ich nehme an, das sie dort nicht ruhig sein wird und sie für Aufsehen sorgen wird. Auch Akemis weiterer Weg würde mich sehr interessieren. Und Taigen und Ringo natürlich. Ich könnte hier jetzt noch zig Spekulationen aufstellen, aber das ist nicht die richtige Plattform dafür. Allerdings weiß ich auch nicht, wo ich mit anderen darüber diskutieren kann. Ich finde hier in Deutschland noch keine entsprechenden Seiten. Und ich kann leider kein Englisch 😊 Jedenfalls ist diese Serie ein MEISTERWERK!!! Hab sie jetzt schon 5 x gesehen 😊😊 Bitte empfiehlt es allen ERWACHSENEN die ihr kennt weiter, je mehr gucken um so wahrscheinlicher kann eine 2 Staffel kommen Hoffentlich. This show was Fire!!! Who said men don’t like a woman lead movie!!

It's honestly mindboggling how much love detail went into creating this show. Every fight is a story on itself. Take the dojo fight from episode 1: initially, we see that Mizu is better than the other dojo students. Then, when they ask her "what school she is", instead of saying "I follow no school or single technique", she pulls the most unorthodox move possible by fucking bouncing her sparring sword off the floor and then fighting with her hat of all things. Then, after we've seen how unique her fighting style is, the completely over-the-top tooth batting move shows us that she is not only a better fighter than the students but she FAR outmatches them. All this to culminate in a fight against Taigen, a master samurai when she's already probably tired from beating the dojo students. And in her fight with Taigen, we find out that she was fighting with WEIGHTS the whole time?! And that the fight that shows us her true skill is against her childhood bully who was ready to kill her with a rock before the meteor strike?? And that later Taigen, who could easily be her arch-nemesis in a classic anime grows to be one of her closest allies (and possibly lover in later seasons)??? I just... I can't even...

mostl people are comparing it with arcane but i feel arcane has good graphics for sure but story and depth, naration is best in blue eye samurai

I have not seen a great samurai anime since Samurai Champloo. I've seen many. Some are classics besides Ruoni Kenshin (Samurai X) (ninja scroll is not anima but still 🤘) When I saw this series... Not only did I see masterpiece. But a series that rivals Game Of Thrones. And I love Game Of Thrones.
