Paint clogged up with defenders, on ball defender physical, had to develop, & settle for mid range shots, or go into paint, with hang time and a super layup package. Vs Todays game, you get straight line drives from simple handles, get to finish with simple layups, because there’s no defenders in the paint, and the help defense is usually a wing, not a true center, or a true enforcer power forward. These eras can’t be compared.
