I think you're totally right about the symbol with the Udo bowl shattering. 1) Tanjiro would never ever disrespect any SERVICE by others. Whether it is food, a box etc. As you know he is super polite and sometimes aggressively polite and nice hehe. So dropping the bowl and not even thinking twice or quickly apologize is their way of telling us that Tanjiro is TREMBLING from fear or a deep trauma (smell similar from probably the worst moment of his life) hit him. 2) You know that Nezeko is literally his top priority at the moment so the fact that he just walked away without making sure his sleeping sister is taken care of is ANOTHER symbol.

Now that i think about it, it could be that the food and its smell represent Tanjiro's peacefull life with his family before they were killed, or "broken", by Muzan.

@@mattvsmetaverse hehe the reason he dropped bowl is pretty straight forward. The reason Ange even made the ”symbol” remark was because the show focused on the broken bowl abit too long and I think like twice, if I remember correctly. So yeah maybe we’re overthinking but there’s symbol in a very long shot at something silly as a broken bowl.

Muzan is voiced by one of Japanese legendary voice actors, Seki Toshihiko, so yeah it's totally understandable for loving his voice, Carlie 😆

Totally agree on Muzan's appearance! The fact that he looks "normal" is way more frightening to me, considering his monstrous strength and power. It's like, no one would be the wiser until it's too late. For me, Muzan is one of the dopest, and most intimidating villains in anime. Can't wait for you to see how his screen-time evolves.

@@Nightwalk444 Imagine an evil Superman. Looks human, but could rip you in half like paper. Pretty scary. Or look at the movie Brightburn. Muzan's not scary in the basic, "ooo, scary monster" kinda way. He's more insidious, and devil-like, while having monstrous strength. And what he shows us in the next episode is certainly pretty scary. Imo!

Actually there wouldn't suddenly be a mass spread of demon infection because only Muzan can turn people into demons. So the guy, who he turned into a demon with the scratch, cannot actually turn others into demons. Just clarifying it for you guys :)

Actually, any demon that has a high enough concentration of his blood can turn others into demons, like the 12. Upper 6 was turned by previous Upper 6 and 4 was going to turn Flame Boy.

He's the main villain, so...technically speaking, Tanjiro is the one in danger here. The only thing that may save him is the fact that Muzan got caught by surprise while being with his fake family, and that's why he chose to create a diversion instead of killing Tanjiro and ruining his own cover. Thank goodness Muzan values more his privacy than eating or killing people, otherwise Tanjiro might be dead by now.

I always thought that Tanjiro put that man in a worse position. He left the girl and ALL the evidence of the past murders with him. What is everyone else in the town to think? He would obviously get pinned as the murderer now since a lot of people thought he killed his fiancee anyways and most people don't believe in demons.

There is nothing to analyze about Demon Slayer. It is a very simple and straightforward shonen that appeals to even little kids and grandmas. It’s gonna get awkward if you analyze this too much or pick up little detail that doesn’t mean anything and make theories on it. A lot of things in this show happen with shonen anime logics. Just enjoy the ride and feel.
