This entire game is built upon high moments. The RNG of getting 2 star and 3 star units is why its so satisfying and the same applies to items as well. Building that perfect item feels great, and the desire for that feeling is what makes you want to keep playing. Would removing or limiting RNG make the game more fair? Absolutely, but it would also make games feel more samey and remove a potential high moment. It all comes down to catering to your audience. Most people who play autochess don't play it for skill expression, but for that one game where all the stars align and you get a 3 star doom with BKB or something and those moments are what drive you to keep playing.

@@mswinds 'Luck is fair to everyone' Yeah, i would have LOVED luck being fair in the time i fought 6 assassins and there was 2 mjollnirs and a vanguard, along an insane amount of single units. When i had just a shitty vanguard as my best item. Pretty fair indeed :^)

I had a game a few days ago where i had: Timber 3 Bounty 3 Doom 3 Tinker 3 Clock 3 Kunkka 2 2x Alchemist 2 Techies 1 Tide 2 Ez win Edit: it was a 100% game

You still lost how?? I had a TB3 +DK3 and an omni 3 6knight synergy and demon and dragon. You might have placed your units wrong, losing with a DK 3 is almost impossible

@@zoulzopan yes i think i placed them wrong, but my dk 3 only been in the game for 1 round before i placed 2nd. I had no good synergy ( but dragon) , and first placed just nuked me with mages
