MJT Guitars - A Great Fender Alternative
In this video I want to show off my MJT Telecaster style guitar. MJT’s are great guitars and a good alternative to Fender guitars. You can get tons of custom options for a fraction of the cost of a Fender Custom Shop guitar.
Here are the specs for my MJT Guitar:

Body Type: Solidbody
Body Shape: Telecaster
Body Wood: Ash
Body Finish: Nitrocellulose
Color: Sonic Blue in satin
Neck Wood: Quarter sawn maple
Fretboard wood: Quarter sawn maple cap

I bought a PJ body in Fiesta Red about three years to go with an original 64 P neck I bought twenty years ago. Good decision. Currently building a new fretless based on one of their bodies and an Musikraft neck. Their work is spectacular.

Hey Chad, I am so glad to see you uploading videos again! Your videos about music theory and anything else on guitar are in my humble opinion the best on the web! Just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate what you do! I learnt more from you than from anybody else! Just wanted to ask: are there more courses to be released on moveforwardguitar? Do you offer skype Lessons?

Thanks so much! There will be more courses released on our site. Right now though I'll be releasing lots of RU-vid vids and even some new courses on RU-vid. We're also launching a Patreon page hopefully very soon with lots of cool rewards. I don't normally offer skype lessons, although I've been considering offering some to a select number of people. Better? Well... That depends... F reakin awesome at much better pricing than fender? HECK YEAH! To help though. If you want a vintage vibe instead of a modern one, can't go wrong with MJT. They are prolly the best of the best when it comes to vintage vibes at great prices. And everything you get is good old fashioned murican fender style guitars : )

To be honest it does not take much effort to make better than Fender these days.Prices over the borad for mostly mediocre instruments.

I feel the same way about all the big brands. I've said many times - I'm not impressed by what someone offers in a guitar for $4,000, I'm impressed when a guitar offers quality at $400. There's little reason to not get an exceptional axe for $800-$1000......but people love to think they'll play better because they've a Corona build in the case. Whatever.

@@Moveforwardguitar They painted one of my greatest guitars ever. And trust me... It's great lol. Cocobolo neck with brazilian rosewood fret board. Body is roasted swamp ash with spruce top. Pick ups are starwood strat assembled on a pickguard in france. Yup... It's amazing. And I finished making it all up and player ready right when EVH died : (

@B2ween Thenotes You could say a guitar pedal is "fake." Reverb is fake. Delay is fake. I'm pretty sure you aren't buying raw selvedge denim jeans. They're probably pre-washed, no? Ever buy a piece of furniture with a 'patina' meant to replicate antiques? Do you cut and style your hair? Relics aren't meant to pretend the owner has played the thing for 40 years in dive bars. It's simply an aesthetic and a matter of feel. Personally, i love the look of vintage instruments, and i hate the thick plastic feel of poly. I'm 53 years old and have never owned a single guitar long enough to wear into it. And since buying a Nash a few months ago, i'm now spoiled for a 'worn-in' neck. So much so that i just took sandpaper to my MIM Strat to try to mimic the Nash neck. And since buying the Nash, i bought a Road Worn Jazzmaster. I'm pretty sure i'll never buy another guitar with a poly neck.
