Diy Michael Kors gift bag.
I made this paper bag using a giant 22 by 28 inch poster paper that I bought at dollar tree for 75 cents.
This purse was harder to make than my last purse, but I loved it so it was definitely worth it. I made two different styles of the MK bag one with a glossy MK stamped pattern on the front and another simple Michael Kors style. Anyone can adjust the measurements to change the bag size with that being said let me know if you would like to see an MK paper bag made from a 12x12 paper.

I love this. I am wanting to make a couple of these things use as gift bags for Christmas presents . I don’t have very many tools either so it is good to know how to emboss by using minimal products. I’ve just got to purchase some embossing powder ASAP so that I can try to do the MK on it as well . Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful day

Wow no special tools. I didn’t know Vaseline was an option for powder embossing! I’ve never done large stamp ink areas because of dealing with ink that would dry up before adding powder and not wanting to powder in segments And now I have a back up heat tool when I can’t find my heat tool and another use for the flat iron Thad I don’t use but didn’t get rid of because it’s perfectly good, I just have a better one that doesn’t make my hair smell burned.

Oh great I'm glad I could give that idea with your flat iron, I was actually given a heat tool now I don't to use the flat iron..I just needed a heating tool at the moment and that was temporary fix. I actually learned the vaseline and embossing powder from someone else and I just thought I'd apply that technique to this little project since I didn't have the proper equipment. Thanks for the comment btw.

Do you think I could substitute round handles, will the measurements of the bag have to be altered?, I watch this video everyday and I still cant get it thank you though, I love it, one more thing, is there a feature on design space that could but score lines in the accurate spot if i just type in where i need it to be scored?

Hi Carla thank you for your comment I'm going to try and remake this bag soon, and I will try to explain it better.I'm trying to find some time to record, edit and getting back to making videos again. but in the meanwhile try and experiment with sizes that's what I usually do. and about design space I have not made a bag on there so Im too sure..Thank you for watching!!!
