Yeah, i actually think that is really Lui Kangs fault. He gave the people whose he created from nothing which whose, again, he hated, terrible lifes they would hate to have, just because he simply hated from them. İnstead of creating them as people whose not in the positions they wanted and very unhappy from it, he could've just created them as Individuals who could have been in another position or in a career that could have helped the people around them and give them a noble reason to strive for... but nope, he outright made them miserable, because he hated them on his own timeline and decided to keep them as horrible people but with more pathetic and pitifull lifes.
@@arjostarudo9406 I don’t think that it was intentional that they became miserable. He gave them simple lives. They were never supposed to be as evil as they were known to be, nor should they have gotten the powers they had before. It was not like Liu Kang had control over their entire lives, he just set them on the course for simplicity. It was their choices that lead them to being broken men, and eventually leading to you-know-who into manipulating them.

Exactly if the Creator of the Universe came before us countless people would scorn (for simplicity sake I'll say "him") him, yell at him and blame him for all the bad things in the world, but like Lu Kang in this instance just because he is the creator does not mean he's the controller of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Created or not we all have free will, and I believe many people have a hard time admitting that many of the hardships they face are due to their own choices.

He's been that way since MK11, and people say he's boring as if being humble isn't a personality trait... I don't understand how anyone could ever hate Liu Kang, he's so likable and admirable.

I feel sorry for Liu Kang because peace is only what he wanted for everyone and not for him, whoever is blaming him should ne just gratefull, just few of them are, like Johnny, Raiden and Lao❤, especially Geras. Eitherway Liu is still humble ❤❤❤
peace much like war comes and goes. also everyone blameing him does not have his perspective. it's like if you were born with a diseases and then met god. wouldn't you be mad?
We don't know where the timeline is going. maybe eventually curing those diseases will result in stronger antibodies that will protect against more deadlier viruses. OR because the Tarkat Baraka and miliena are much better combatants. ones that the realm are going to need. @@isaacgarcia13
Honestly the tarkat disease just feels more so like a consequence of trying to change characters life and upbringing too much to the point where events that have to happen, still happen
I wouldn't say he ever humbled, he just calmed down after having a daughter and wanting to focus on being a family man. Personally, I think its perfect for his character and hope it happens again.
Weirdly he definitely is more humble than young Johnny from previous time-lines. Young Johnny from the original time-line is just an ass, but this Johnny feels more fun and less mean-spirited and dismissive
I do like the way Liu Kang looks towards the camera a bit as he's talking to Johnny. Either he's rolling his eyes or staring into the Camera for a brief moment of 4th wall breaking... Which either is a funny result. XD
Both pretty egotistical so not having beef with the person who created them as “awesome” as they are is fair. They really never had a reason to be upset with the lot they were given in life.

Well, despite what the kharakters say about Johnny, I feel that they actually do care about him and see him as a friend. Hell, I’d say that if somehow Johnny gets murked, I can see Liu, Raiden, Lao, Kuai Liang, Smoke, Kenshi, Reptile, Baraka all pulling up to whoever did it and give them an a$$ clapping like never before seen
reminder: this dude is Revenant Liu Kang, Retro Liu Kang from past timeline, and original Raiden fused together. Technically he and Geris is all that's left of the original timeline, if Kronika isnt the same
Maybe the reason for Tarkat origin was Liu Kang tried to erase the Tarkatan as a race and saving Baraka and Mileena by extend, but the timeline kept some aspects of them that manifested in the disease later on.
No as the keeper of time Liu kang had full control over time and all time lines and all the realms so the reason for the tarkat origin is just bad writing
I feel bad for Liu Kang getting crap from everyone as if their misery is his fault: he isn't omnipotent, nor does he want people like Tomas, Syzith, Baraka or the royals to suffer; but if he just started interfering and everything, then there is no point in having free will😢
Plus like he said, he made the realms and life, but let them do the rest. Plus minus all that, we know Liu Kang is a good person at heart. He wasn't trying to change them to screw them worse than Kronika did (minus Shang Tsung, Quan Chi, and Shao but he had valid reasons)

So by keeping them from getting such power,they could maybe make themselves more humble. Shang chose to keep being a snake selling fake cures. Shao still chose to be all about war, and not agreeing with his monarch wanting to do what he thinks is right. Idk about Quan Chi cuz he only shows up after Titan Shang shows up. He could've just erased them if he really hated them. But he still gave them a life. A life they all chose to make the evil decisions
@@whoa4440Lui Kang's answer is something I like....its not entirely wrong, but it IS flawed which is why it failed, but his flawed reasoning was perfectly in character with Liu Kang. People sometimes forget that Liu Kang has no idea what the real world is like, something he foolishly thought he did compared to Johhny in one of their MK11 interactions. Johhny may be a Hollywood movie star, but Liu Kang has lived his life as a shaolin monk. Both are the opposite extremes from real life experiance. The lives he planned for Quan Chi and Shang Tsung would be something a monk would think up for people with mindsets as foreign to a monk as possible. He didnt know he was actually sabotaging his own redemption plans for Shang Tsung. Liu Kang's still a naive Shaolin monk at heart.
One thing that is shown is that people love to blame the person who made but the point he gave them the paint, brush and canvas what they did from there was up to them not him
I mean what happened to Quan-chi, Shang tsung and Shao Kahn wasn't a result of their own actions, it was a result of Lui Kang's creation as he wanted these to have misarable lifes that they would be unhappy with instead of creating them as people who could've help the others around them in different ways their powers. And only reason he made them as the way they are, is because he just hated from them.

Liu Kang decided to just make Edenia and Outworld one realm from the start, rather than individual realms. That says a lot about how he felt about both.
They probably were individual. He said in the story that Outworld has a long dark history but for the last thousand years they’ve seen peace. But thanks to him, Outworld has that peace and it isn’t a dark brooding wasteland

I can imagine Liu Kang telling everyone about MK1 - Armageddon, then the reset with MK9 - MK11. Hell throw in MK vs DC and Shaolin Monks while we're at it due to EVERY timeline being canon now.
honestly i think the only draw back to making your own world and becoming THE creator is that over time, you lose that power and also you cannot possibly ever predict the consequences to your very first action regarding these new worlds. it's very tragic in a sense. he cannot prevent what he never had the power to foresee.
I think the one being still exists in this new era.. especially with lines like "He is not the architect of your oppression" And "Think of me more as their Steward" But Im probably wrong they probably just said F*** IT. And made Liu everygod/eldergod/titan all in one

I love how straight forward he was with Shao. No anger, no resentment, no spite. Just a simple declaration that explaining how he made the realms would eat up too much time.
