In the first episode I start working on the Cortina I thought id start with the rear axle and suspension, it's all been stripped, primed, painted and rebuilt.
I'll cover the strip down and rebuild of the leaf springs which can be done at home using basic hand tools.

Jim Builds was just a 1200 consol cortina from Czech Republic, will update it a bit with modern running gear.

Hi....cant seem to find you on insta??? Going to be doing a MK1 tina soon is a1200 columna chance ATM....but going 2.0pinto with twin 40 webbers 5 spd box front discs conversion and rack and pinion steering....LOVE the build btw

Hi Lee, Thanks for getting in touch, I changed the insta profile to Jim_builds I figured I'd make it all match! Have you just bought your 1200? What year is it? Also does that mean you have a front bench seat? A pinto is a great engine and should be a decent car once you've done it 👍 Jim

@@jimbuilds ok...Will go follow now...i bought It a couple of years ago as a birthday present for my dad ...so we can do It Up together...its a front bench yes with Split back....i Will send you some pics....It should be started on this year and then Will go with our collection
