Yeah, I think it's hard to compare The Boys, which is more realistic, to Invincible. I definitionally think Homelander is as strong or even better than Omniman here in Mk 1🙂
@@lightningedgegameplay2274 exactly this. Invincible is in the category of marvel and dc with all the different types of powers, aliens, and monsters. The boys is super grounded so their characters are just way weaker. A true fight would be Omniman on V, or Homelander as a viltrumite/having powers like immortal.
Even if we scaled the two evenly to one another, Omniman still takes it low diff. He has proper training and fights efficiently and with immediate intent to kill. Homelander is just a bully who has never been matched in a fair fight. The literal second someone is actually on his level he winds up getting bodied. One is a warrior, the other is a corporate product
@@LordZanas well here’s where the debate ensues. If Omniman is just as strong, it becomes much harder for him. Homelander fought well against soldier boy, who appears to be pretty close to him in power, and knows how to fight. Also butcher, who is a way better fighter, and was able to tank his lasers. Omniman can fight sure, but Homelander knows how to integrate his powers properly, he didn’t get them yesterday. All Omniman’s prowess comes from integrating combat into his flight and strength too.
That might be a little "too" meta, to the point it would just come off as nonsensical and ridiculous 😂 Also when you take the in universe lore, the way MK protrays Homelander is absolutely NOT what he would allow. He would not allow his image to be used for killing, gore and we would also not know his depraved, secret vices and fetishes. He would want to be seen the exact same way we as a society see Superman. Homelander would look at his portrayal in MK as a slanderous hit piece and try to murder Netherrealm Studios if he were real 😂
I like Homelander because he really shows how superpowers can turn a person into a villain. His isolated childhood and massive ego are pretty realistic to me.
@@lightningedgegameplay2274 I think it’s his massive ego and emotions that give more character than compared to Nolan or Superman. In my opinion at least
Yeah, they have the exact same powers, but I was impressed that NRS made him so different from Superman in Injustice. Except for the lasers of course 😅
