this isnt even a playstyle, its a separate single player game inside mk11. anyone who thinks zoning should be viable just look at this bullshit. Its not fun. even for the person playing as the zoner it isnt interesting, they just like shitting on other people for literally zero effort.

@@immortalhorde4057 zoning is to keep people away who would beat the shit out of you if they got close. An example would be cetrion vs joker. Cetrion in general is a zoner, but in specific cases like that, it's a good example as to what zoning is. Spamming is like spamming a uppercut, spamming a move. The difference is commonly confused. @@immortalhorde4057 not in a modern context of fighting games. if your only goal is to run away and throw projectiles thats not a valid way to play when much of the cast cant deal with that. projectiles are part of neutral and space control sure but htey should never be able to keep you out with them, just delay your advance to give themselves a better position. Im tired of people saying zoning should be a thing simply because it has always been a thing.

Dude u know pluralmite would destroy u with patience 😂. Koisy is has neutral tho and that’s why he was able to put in work. U can get mad at his playstyle but after playing pluralmite myself, I learned I didn’t have good neutral and footsie fundamentals.

Exactly!!! Every other match it's Scorpion spam, Sheeva spam, Jade spam, or Sub-Zero spam. So annoying

literally!!! i play with skarlett and jade and i dont throw a single projectile cause i wanna fight (cus its a fighting game) but literally no one wants to actually fight. they just throw projectiles adn when you come close and try to attack they do a forward advancing special move or some condition you and just grab or jump forward with a jump kick, also the raidens' with the amazing teleports and zoning and down 1 into storm cell. and cant forget the offensive teleport spammers with mix ups such as liu kang, kung lao and scorpion. i have said it before but teleports are the single most scrubby things about this game, especially the ones where they have teleport attacks. the game should be called mortal teleporting and zoning. p.s sheeva doesnt even need to be mentioned...her existence is just explanation enough.

I personally love when they do that, it’s so easy to counter, and makes it more satisfying to Tbag and do a fatality

@@kc1278 exactly! You have to dash or walk away from this move, so naturally you may be too far to punish. It sucks.

Make it cost meter, more punishable, and slower because If you have a character with slow movement then you’re getting stomped every time.

Why tho. His raiden was actually solid. He was mixing up his teleports. Keeping himself safe. Hit confirming. Yeah he stayed away like floyd mayweather but some raidens rely on the f12 grab or launch mix up and that's annoying. This raiden played really safe

@@marcosagrero2866 there are two versions of it, one is default and you can simply avoid it by a delayed dash forward or backwards (forward is preferable). The other they equip an ability that makes them direct the stomp forward or backwards to catch dodges. All versions can be delayed, so you mostly react when the screen or the camera moves. Offline you can (very tight) d2 it exactly when the camera moves and get a combo off of it. Online teleports can kinda counter it too (including Fujin's Sky Wakka), also moves that make your character move (like Liu Kang's bf3, or Jax's bf2) to escape. The funny thing is she has a ground tremor that the start animation looks the same as her stomp, so basically they can mix you up by unblockables full screen. :) The move is absolutely broken and stupid, and I really don't comprehend why they don't remove a property or two from it. It is laughable that it has Krushing Blow too. Lmfao

Came from high level Tekken and still I see these three as the most turn off in the game: Different timing for wavedash for different characters! Like why did they even bother with that? The MKX run was perfect for the game. Throw 50/50 since you have absolutely no visual que to react to the break. Broken. Absurd frames on some moves, especially d1. +14 on hit! It is absolutely madness. Can't lab DLC if you haven't payed... couldn't stop at three. Grind time on unlockables. Break Away made close combat way too safe. Keep in mind you still have special moves and their AMPS to make almost majority of your moves safe on block... don't know why they kept breakaway too. Combos in the game are just too weird. Either way too inconsistent, or simple af.

As a Noob main, shadow slide y punishable in many ways. Is not even good as sheeva's fireballs. The worst thing, that's not the problem, it's the fucking recovery of the stomp, you barely punish her if she's close to you

@@senua2491 the slide is punishable and a part of me wish it wasn’t however with that said you so down B or back A into the slide and amplify at a certain range and they can’t touch you however given the circumstances the chances of doing that repeatedly is super rare. I do agree the recovery on her stomp is ridiculous as hell and I use Sheeva and sometimes it feels nasty using her sometimes.

I can play really well with sheeva, so when I encounter someone like this fucker I just switch and stomp them to death and hit them with some combos until I win or quit
