Only those who have walked this line will truly know the challenges you faced and the patience you had to have to see this through to the end, looks great, enjoy your project!
Brother I am in awe and amazement of this, my jaw literally dropped when I realised you painted it in what looked like a pop up green house on your driveway
My deepest respect. I owned an xr3i and 1.6 rs turbo when I was younger, loved the cars. Cant believe you achieved this on your driveway, you are a genius with golden hands.
It is great but damn is must be easy having a garage with all the gear aha! Doing big stuff on project cars suck when you live in a council house with no garage! Props to him though it came out great!
Mindblowingly amazing, I'm bloody worn out just watching and on your drive way 😥 what an achievement amazing skillset you have. I thought it was my son standing there with his arms folded near the end had to rewind that bit three times, I'm sharing this well done buddy RESPECT 👏👏 ✊🏴
I was so close to slagging this build off for the sheet metal underside. The mechanic in me was twitching at the thought of chassis flex. Then the next visual was a Tig welder and stringers tigged on the chassis. Nice work
Escort wit a heart of a bmw n d running gear of a rx8 sweet as a nut I like it any plans for upgrading this beast in future r just keeping the way u built it ?
So glad to of stumbled across this video. A lad 2 roads from me has a s1 xr3i (is it. Its not a original s1 rsturbo) but it has a 700bhp cowworth enigine in and its on the rears. Great video mate
First class 👌 hats off to you, great way to show your years of learning you skills and putting them to good use..really enjoyed your build and love the escort 🏁😎
Not a fan of the cage work i'd have done it differently but a definate thumbs up to the rest of the build not seen BMW parts used before most of these seem to be Sierra based👍
Mate this is honestly one off the best builds ive seen on a mk4. Some off your works scary genius cant wait to watch ur other vids. Im doing the rst conversion on mine ( first engine swap ) and im having a bit bother with my loom. Im just swapping the engine loom , keeping lights etc. but the relays at the footwell i know i remove the pink fuel relay and replace with the pink rst one , but the green relay next to it that runs the warm up reg etc with the brown wires do i remove this one? I can post a video if it helps... cheers
I thought the opposite. The BMW engine and drivetrain makes sense to me but not the RX8 suspension and subframe. For a RWD conversion BMW is the go to engine here in the UK. They're quite cheap and parts are easy to come by.
3:53...theres practically nothing there look how little metal there ia once you remove the thin floor..theses are scary weak and ive been in one off the clock past 140mph 😬
@@traceypotts9425 don't watch my videos then! Simple! Haha, I don't go on RU-vid and find videos I'm not going to enjoy and comment on them telling them I'm bored! Find some videos you do enjoy and go and have fun! 👌
