love the video! Was looking into a catted AWE Track setup, but, quick question. Are those the Vland Tail Lights? if so, how did you get the sequentials to work?
So all you did was order a cts catted downpipe and the awe track exhaust and they came with all the clamps needed to put them together? Or did you have to buy any reducers or special connectors to make it fit?
I can’t recall exactly; I believe it met at a tiny stock point, so there was a weird stock section after doing both. But I had a guy weld a 3-inch section to connect. But you shouldn’t have to do any modification it all bolts together.
@@jack.dahl1 so you just made that section bigger than stock size? Sorry for all the questions man lol. I just ordered the awe track catback and the cts downpipe cause I’m trying to get the exact sound as yours in the video lol
@@giants21221 Yes I just had the guy make it the same size as the downpipe exit to entrance of the catback can’t remember exact 2.75-3inch It actually made it slightly louder, you noticed more on the DSG shifts.
Jack Tran Most passengers wouldn’t really complain if ever. Unless in the back seat. I was 17-18 years old at the time. It didn’t bug me. Now I think it would annoy me! My mom drove it a couple times and she never said anything about it. But I would recommend adding a resonator, or just go with the AWE touring vs the Track.
@@nickpetrocelli912 Sweet! Mine weren’t that loud until I replaced the section that matted the Downpipe to the catback. That part was still stock size. I had a 3inch pipe welded there. Then it started doing the loud farts!
@@jack.dahl1 Interesting, I’ll look into that! I hear that the 7 speed dsg also is part of the reason theyre much quieter because I do get some small ones, just not nearly as crazy as yours
