Agreed. This whole game is heavily underrated. I think it's one of the best MK games of all time. Love the gameplay, music, art, story, characters, and their Konquest mode is tied for best imo, with the one in Deception.

@@threat9231 In Tekken you have to block mid attacks standing. In the 3D MK games "mids" were called overheads but functioned similarly so essentially you wanted to block standing most times like in Tekken.

This game had great stages,gameplay and story... The art was amazing... The stages had a living aura in theme... They feel alive .. the music was great as well I truly loved it when it came out and I still play it from time to time... 3D MK games weren't as bad as people.make.them.sound

@Fwuffycodbunny I was thinking about that too. I grew up playing a lot of MKD and I still play it every now and then. And I'm kinda shocked by the movement in this game. I remember a lot about this game but I never played attention to the technical aspects of the 3d era. I thought they were all the same with little improvements each game.

Now this , is how mk 12 should be . poking and learn when to attack . Love the mechanic . Of course the side steps and some other glitches had to be fix . But , the concept is there . And i love it

I think MK4-6 are criminally underrated. Yeah a few of the characters sucked but Mavado, Kenshi, Frost and Nitara are awesome, I love Moloch and Onaga too. If they remade that trilogy with like an MK9 fighting engine, it would be the best MK game. The lore and story is way better than the reboot timeline as of MK X

I think DA would be much more beloved if it did just a few thing differently: 2 fatalities per character; a masked design for Reptile; proper final boss; masked Sub-Zero as the default skin instead of old man Zero

this game was by far the BEST of the full 3D era of MK. It had tight, snappy movement and most importantly...speed. The speed(and responsiveness of inputs) decreased with Deception and especially Armageddon. The combat had gotten so slow and stiff by the time of Armageddon I couldn't really get into the flow of the combat anymore. They ruined what began as a cool formula.

Aint that some bullshit.. My name on Twitch was Lightly_Salted and i was talking to you on MK11 Stress Test about how MK doesnt belong in 3D games and the ridiculous Reptile Crab Stance/Animation. XD Here you released a video, a couple days ahead of time i talked to you with Reptile in a 3D MK. XD Tekken has always been King of 3D to me.. Ill leave 3D to Tekken. Fuck Twitch.. I had too many account issues.. Maybe someone was trying to hack my account..But Twitch does have better stream quality and less buffering than RU-vid, ill give them that. PNDKetchup has a great video on Flawless Blocking in MK11 tho..

I presume its because in deception and armageddon, it would prevent the 'Finish Him' prompt from appearing, but for some reason it does not work here. I will say that it must be because of the blood being distracting for the players

Deadly Alliance and Deception are really good episodes! Deception is the best 3d game of this trilogy. Unfortunately Armageddon was a big level down. It was quantity over quality and the graphics were really bad; less textures on the characters and the stages.

I hope MK12 direction will be inspired by MK5, MK6. I really miss stances looking like martial art stances. Changing stances needs to return. MK11 is a bummer the animation is not to my liking. I feel like MK9-MK11 is to please trilogy fans. The trilogy games had bad animation so I guess it's a nostalgia trip for them. MK11 fatalities looking bad too. Seriously the body doesn't drop on specific fatalities. During the fatality it slows down time to highlight the gore then freezes XD. Characters don't even pose anymore after doing a fatality.

Everything you mention about mk11 is just you not paying attention to detail or not finding the right information. It won't be a pay to win game. Gear, skins, fatals, brutals and abilities will be easier accessible thru krypt unlike injustice 2 random gear generator.

3d landscape is way better than 2d IDKY they stuck to trash ass 2d, where you get frame locks with 0 neutral, and possibly get trapped in a corner, this takes skill, the new mks hold the trash cans hands.
