I think Leo’s MK can be real. If people say it doesn’t look efficient or clean, it’s probably because he hasn’t played MK as much. He’s probably spent at least 2,000 more hours playing Joker than he had Meta Knight. It covers his bad MUs such as Min Min very well too. While I don’t think the Byleth is the future, the Meta Knight could be. Love the content Esam, yall are both Goats! Good luck with finding a sponsor too
it already is real, wins against doramigi and alice are insane, could always be better for sure but being able to pull out these wins shows more than enough how lethal it is
@@cristiangonzalez2915 oh yeah, it’s definitely real and I know he thinks it’s the answer from his tweets, but as you said always room for improvement for sure.
MK gets really underrated as a counterpick/secondary in this current meta. Has good MUs against a lot of common top tiers, can stand a chance against any character that can be gimped, and can get early kills through ladder/bridge combos. Also is good in scramble situations due to most of his attacks having good start up and decent to good safety on shield. Not to mention MK having good mobility and one of the best recoveries. Probably not viable as a main due to some inconsistency and trouble killing in certain MUs, but in the right hands he’s certainly not a bad character pick.
Leo went MK for Alice's Kazuya. Once Alice won game 1, Leo knew switching to Joker would be a temporary solution as Alice had counterpick advantage and decided he'd rather deal with Roy as MK rather than Kazuya as Joker.
ik u dont read comments but like ur mt favorite smash player and u made me start playing again so ty. this is the only time ill ever like beg, but can u please like this so it can reach the top so esam can see it, its always been my dream for this to happen ty :)
Leo somehow beat Naetoru 3-0 with MK, despite pichu being arguably a worse MU for MK than pika, so while it's not a good matchup its possible that it might be a better counterpick than any of his other characters
I wonder if Leo started playing Roy in tourney cause he wanted to get the experience against it. Kinda like how Miya has a Steve cause he wanted to figure out acola.
Hey ESAM, long boi ahead but would appreciate it if I got your input. I’m very very new to smash, I’ve only ever played for fun randomly with friends. But have started to really enjoy it and want to become a better player and to compete. With that being said. I only have joy cons with the handle thing. And I quite like them and can’t afford a GameCube controller at the moment. But have been getting flack for using them as I continue to grow. So my question is. Does it truly matter? Or do I need to invest.
I mean you can play with the joycons for now but I would definitely recommend a better controller in the future. Start with what you have, but definitely work your way up when possible
