I was expecting 2 weeks from Niyake, but 5 days? What a no-lifer! j/k! Good job Niyake. He needs to incorporate the new beginning strat or the new ending strat at least though ;/

TAS involves slowing a game down to a frame every second (or around there, not sure) so you can get something to be as perfect as possible, such as an MKWii TT. It's not hard to do, you just need to know the game and it's ATs (advanced techniques), but there's usually a huge amount of time put into one TAS, with sometimes over 1000 rerecords (going back to a previous savestate and recording again) in such TASes. Hope I explained TAS well.

This can go lower with Mander's beginning strat and a straight ending :) I'm sure Niyake will improve.

Yes thank you. I was into this whole Cheat, Hack and stuff like that before. I simply do not know any thing that is relatited to that anymore, i am growing tired of hacks. too much information. But yes, You have explained it well, thank you. It doesn't seem like this WR holder has used "TAS"

100 rerecords is only about 1-2 hours work, and if this is TAS (I'm not saying it is) it was probably one in 1 day or less, while people who play "legit" take a lot longer to get good times

@MikeYoshi56 errm i think they only used him for this particular trial run :) Baby mario isn't as good an alternative as baby daisy in general (amongst lightweights anyway), i think it's because the glitch is easier to pull off with baby mario. Plus rosalina + bowser bike for vs is pretty nice :) funky kong for time trial. Gotta love those guys.
