SuperNate42 it's really beautiful, a lot of people dislike MK games but it's really fun and amazing when you get good at it. Once you learn all the little attack sequences and specials and then get creative and make combos or chains learn how to integrate specials into combos and how to counter it gets really good. It's not just blocking the whole time followed with attacks or grabs until you get X-ray. Once you good enough, you won't even use the X-ray anymore because you can do combos that are stronger and you're gonna want to do breakers or save meter.

I've been watching Sonic Fox for a while now. The thing I notice the most is that Sonic knows the matchups really well. He seems to take a methodical approach. Example. Say he is playing MKX and has 10 characters at his disposal. He will learn the top 5 and bottom 5 matchups and train those fights. Then he just picks a character and only deviates when he is losing or is getting outplayed. I think this is how he comes up with all the successful tourney runs. Also, I do think he is really good, but I think its more important to note that he knows his matchups and limits his disadvantages. This strategy, IMO, and I'm no expert, has given him advantage and even dominating games vs top players for so long. Feel free to debate tho cuz I'm still trying to figure out how he got so good so fast and stayed this level of play across multiple games
