Tone is absolutely awesome you are getting, but its damn near $300! I just cant pay that, as you mentioned. I just want to be able to use my own IRs with it.
Yeah, it is a hefty price, but it's a nearly complete package not leaving anything to be desired for. I think this is rather made for people who do not want to go down the IR rabbit hole, but just have "THE SOLUTION".
once more an amazing video, thank you! I always had an impression that the IRs in other plugins sounded kind of flat. I mean that the frequency spectrum did not change when doing for example palm mutes. Maybe it sounds a bit stupid but IRs sound to me like a fixed EQ instead of more like a multiband compressor EQ. I have a feeling a real amp/speaker setup reacts a bit better to the dynamics of the playing for example in terms of having sag. I am looking since some time for a good power amp simulation, do you think this plugin "feels realistic" ?
I personally do feel that this plugin has a super realistic "micing the cab" experience. However, this has nothing in regard of power amp or anything - for that power-amp thump, I personally really like Ignite Amps/STL Tones TPA-1 - easy to dial in and sounds great!
@@PippPriss Thank you! Using TPA 1 as well since a long time. The plugin is awesome however i always had a feeling it takes something out of the midrange and you need to be aware of that if you have already a scooped sound. Also like it on Bass.
