Rhys Hoskins, Schwarber and Harper broke that Padres pitching rotation and bullpen. Padres pitching looked untouchable until they met their match.

i think this series was criminally underrated and will be underrated for awhile. Most of the games were close and every game was really entertaining from both teams. Padres put up a great fight but that clutch hitting from the Phillies was just incredible.

After the Red Sox did horribly this season, I thought I wouldn't have a team to back. Thank god for my north eastern heritage, thank God for the Phillies!

Coming from a Phillies fan, I personally want to thank the Padres for beating the Mets, Juan Soto is a stud, Manny Machado is a beast, they’re gonna be really good next year once Tatis comes back.

I had a feeling it would be Phillies versus Astros in the world series. Kind of ironic that the last team the Phillies played in the regular season were the astros. If the Phillies win the world series, not only would this be a complete Revenge game from the regular season, and give them their third overall WS win, they'll also be the third National League team to defeat houston within 3 years. Coming from south jersey, GO PHILLIES!!

In terms of entertainment, even with a 4-1 series score, this was one of the best playoff series in the last decade of baseball.

You know, since we won 4 games to 1, it sounds like a walkover, but these were 5 evenly fought games.

Coming from an Astros fan I am going to just say the Astros are gonna have to be on the A game and congrats to the Phillies for winning the NLCS I would’ve like to seen it go to 7 games but o well Philly dominated this should be a good World Series

The Padres were eliminated, which also ended six consecutive years (2016-2021) in the playoffs. As long as the team that wins the Dodgers wins the World Series, the curse of the Dodgers winning the championship after being defeated by their opponents in the playoffs is also lifted🤣

These games were close, but philly beat the padres. Game 4 was the padres win but cleveinger and meanea were bad, wish they had Wacha and Lugo. GG philly.

Even with all that offense, the pitching double whammy of Clevinger/Manaea was too much for the Padres to overcome in G4. The Phillies were fun to watch in this postseason.

The Phillies are a World Series caliber team no wonder they were a bloop and blast from winning it all last year if my Yankees don’t make it next year I’ll be doing a lot of rooting for our southern neighbors of Philadelphia

As wel as Melvin coached this year and as much as people call out the pitching decisions he made I think the real thing was tinkering with the lineup so much I think Bell Drury Kim profrar we’re all moved around too much, the second game he shoulda just stuck with that same order all series may have been different there was no ability to get comfortable in a spot for half the line up they’re getting pitched differently every game because of where they are in the lineup that game. But either way great series was closer than a 5 game series would say goo Phils!

I know I’m gonna sound like an old man here but I don’t understand the point of MLB expanding playoffs to a 6th team in each league in order to have 85 win teams to make the World Series. The Mets, Braves and Dodgers won so many games and all for naught. What’s the point of playing 162 then? Nothing against the Phillies since they invested so much into the team and are extremely fun to watch but just generally speaking

Maybe my standards are "too high" when it comes to baseball, but Soto and Machado are basically nonexistent this entire series. I mean borderline awful. Furthermore, if you want proof that the Gold Glove Award is more of a popularity contest than it is about actually being elite in the field, just look at Soto defensively in this series and think about how he was Gold Glove finalist. Gross.
