That Jays/Mets game where Schneider got tossed fired up Guererro to get a double and an RBI.. I was there--you should have seen the look on the umpire's face. Perfect!
So we slowed the game down with replays and sticky inspection, tried to make it faster with the pitch clock, and still haven't done anything with the umps? Cool MLB, cool

@@Alonzo2k8they need to put dirt in the umps eyes and faces and go nose to nose and swing at them and knock them out. Umps are like cops today. Don’t know sh**!
From 21:00-24:25, that one older sounding announcer with the Tigers or Twins sounded so sad the entire time, I wanted to stop everything I was doing and give him a hug.
@@xKalamity I still remember Gibby's amusing narration of Brad Ausmus' ejection vs the Twins years ago, "Takes his jersey off and nicely and neatly covers the plate. He said, no use in having the white part." 😂
1:43 How in the smoldering burning hell do you miss that? Vlad would have had to make a swinging uppercut just to even graze the ball. The umps association need them some Jesus.
I fear that one day when there are robot umpires, there will be no more ejections. I hope we keep humans as umpires because it keeps the game more entertaining.
Scott Servais Mariners manager better end up in July ejections including today’s game against Minnesota Twins arguing w/ umpire to get the team back on track
the commentators in that one clip complaining that the home plate ump stopped calling pitches off the plate as strikes and then said that he needed to keep his mask on and focus on doing better. while i realize the players mostly want the strike zone to be consistent, yelling at the ump for actually getting better is a funny move
Always cracks me up how the umps get that tough-guy look when throwing an eject. Like they intimidated the player or coach off the field by sheer force of will. When the other party just doesn't want to write a big check to pay off a largely-arbitrary fine.
Who doesn't love a good ejection right. I just wish they would mike up the coaches ( or play sound from umpires ) so we could hear them plead their cases instead of just assuming what's being said that would be next level.. so what there might be some foul language, but that is passion in the heat of the moment, and I think we should be able to hear what is said... God damb, it's 2023. Tell me anyone that doesn't cuss in the heat of the moment....
Whaaaa?? I clicked on this video because I saw the Mets best jersey being worn in the modern day, I thought I was seeing things. Since when did they bring back their EARLY 2000’s jersey?? I remember they wore this when the A’s had their sick black and green jerseys (all the big 3 wore them). Which led the way for their sickest jerseys they wore at the end of the 2000’s that were black but with green/yellow lettering. Bring back the teams black jerseys! The Jays best jersey was black, the Royals had a really awesome black jersey, and the aforementioned Mets and A’s.
To be fair, there are thousands and thousands of calls made per month in this sport. The umpires really aren't that bad. Sure there are awful calls but overwhelming majority are right.
@MrGgffggffggff they may be right calls but if they are not consistent in those calls then that's where the problems always arise. Call pitches the same consistently
@@justinhill7224 but I hate that argument too. Ump calls one pitch wrong then corrects to call the next pitch correctly. Nobody will ever be happy. In a 162 game season, calls equal out for a team( minus the Eric Gregg game lol) I just want to enjoy baseball without people trying to replace umpires after every pitch. Just my opinion
@@MrGgffggffggffback then a couple of years ago, people wanted robots instead of umpires. It sounds like everyone wants a fair game. Though, I always find it funny, how the players have it easy to say smart talk behind them to umpires. I was told that you can’t argue balls and strikes. Players and coaches don’t have control over that.
What would happen if live television coverage and hi-def replays showed that the umpire's strike zone is garbage, that he's bad at his job, and that his poor attitude towards players, coaches, and managers is only making baseball more farcical rather than fixing the problem? Nothing? MLB does nothing about that? Got it.
I think if I were an MLB manager, I would inform the crew chief before every game that I was playing under protest, because I know they are going to be terrible at their job.
what happened to this channel? they havent done a video since the june ejections. i really look forward to this every month and they appear to have crapped out?
So I have no idea what happened to MLB ET, we’re missing three months of this most recent season, and October too, this page was diligent in post videos not long after months ended but he stopped and no one has heard a word, maybe they got tired of it, maybe they’re on vacation, maybe they did die, I have no idea.
These ejections are boring nowadays. Pitch appears outside box, coach/player yells, umpire warns, then ejects What happened to the pulled foot at 2nd arguments? The straight steal at 2nd with the tying run called out? Replay was meant to correct obvious, game-changing error, now all that’s left is arguing with a monitor
