The Dodgers simply didn’t show up. They lost to a division rival. Scratch that, SWEPT! They got swept by a division rival when they were favored to win the series. I guess Dave Roberts is really an over manager. When will this team learn?
This series was nowhere near Dave Roberts' fault. The pitching was just out of sorts all series and their bats? Well, let's just say they boarded a flight to Nowhereville.
Dodgers were doomed after that top of the 1st, the announcer said "A disasterous start for Clayton Kershaw" more like an amazing start by the Diamondbacks offense
I know you don't really get as many views on them as you used to but I still really appreciate you doing these series highlights. Its just a really good recap of the playoff series and I appreciate you taking the time to do these 👍
I honestly never really expected this team to win the WS this year what with their very shaky starting rotation. However I DID expect them to at least make the NLCS! Not only can they not do that, but they can't even win a single game against a team they finished 16 games over in the division! It's frustrating being a fan of this team at times man. Year after year it's the same end result. Some years are definitely worse than others- 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 were definitely more disappointing than this year- but it still sucks regardless. Oh well, on to next year once more! Yay...
2013 - Somewhat acceptable. We just were not ready. 2014 - absolute chokejob 2015 - could have gone either way just unlucky 2016 - overachieved if anything 2017 - we got cheated no doubt 2018 - we overachieved if anything 2019 - straight up chokejob 2020 - won the series but it was a shortened season though this team could have been special with a full season too 2021 - we were definitely gassed but still choked those first 2 games 2022 - hella hella hella embarrassing 2023 - was not expecting much but not to get swept this fast
As a Cubs fan I feel bad for Dodgers fans, your ownership is one of the few that actually cares about winning and MLB is rewarding the cheap owners that barely make the playoffs in hopes that their team gets hot
last year was the worst for me, because la had no excuse to lose against anyone, like most years. but this season we missed urias abusing ass, gonsolin and may, they couldve helped us advance
The greatest game I’ve ever been to and after the game when the dbacks jumped in the pool it took the sheriffs so much time to clear out the area just so they can watch it
As an Angels fan, I can’t believe what I saw. It’s like the D-Backs were facing my Angels instead. The team leaders for the Dodgers had terrible body language all series long. Ever since Game 1, they just looked defeated. I’m certain Kershaw’s atrocious start set the tone for the series. Amazing that the D-Backs took BOTH games at Dodger Stadium given their bad history there, let alone sweeping the series. The Dodgers with that offense should not be scoring only 2 runs in every game and had no business getting SWEPT. This is a major failure. If the Astros can win the World Series with the bye (having the best record in the AL last season), then the Dodgers have no excuse for being cold after 5 days off. Feels like the Dodgers could win 120 games and still go out in the NLDS so if you’re a Dodger fan, don’t get excited if they are having a crazy good regular season. But that’s the beauty of the MLB postseason. Anything can happen and anyone can win.
El manager de los dogers 😢😂es una vergüenza no ganar ni sólo partido debería de pensar en renunciar o q lo renuncien se lo soltó la boca con el mexicano es un hablador no es de confianza
The Dodgers deserved to get swept, to be honest. When your two best players, in my opinion, go 1-21 in the Series, you're not going to win anything. Also, the starting pitching was horrid, that did not help either.
Dodgers are made to win the regular season, but the attitude of "we can just win tomorrow" or "we'll get em next time" doesn't work in the postseason. They needed fire and urgency, there is no tomorrow
