Story time: so I was about 14 playing travel ball. This kid hits the ball all the way back (like a normal home run) i was playing right field so the only logical thing to do was try and rob it. I try jumping up against the fence and when I lift my arm up a hear a loud *KAPOP* and then a couple seconds later I am laying on the ground in the worst pain of my life. My coach and teammates all run over and i swear I could not move my arm. I was taken to the hospital where I tore something in my shoulder. I am 16 and still get chills thinking about it. Wouldn’t experience again for 1m dollars.
Never ran into a fellow outfielder but i did ricochet off the fence trying to catch a fly ball. Worst part is, my teammates just stood there laughing at me while the hitter got an inside the park homerun!
