I'm liking KC today.. yankees played a hard series against them dodgers and finally pulled out a win, yesterday, to K.C. today.. KC bats vs lefties are pretty good too..🤷🏻‍♂️👊🤑 Lets go royals!

Really hard to fade the orioles right now. I do think pepiot is pitching better as of late. Burnes hasn’t given up more than 3 in any start this year so rays under first 5 probably a solid play. If im forced to bet it I would lean toward Baltimore.

I took Baltimore the last two games. In my opinion this game comes down to is Baltimore motivated for the sweep with the Braves being on deck. I guess I also have to wonder if Baltimore sits some players today being they just beat this team 3 times in a row and they play the Braves tomorrow. That being said this is an American league and divisional game and they are in a race with the Yankees to win the division and for a top seed in the AL so i would hope they come to play today. If they do then Baltimore is capable of the sweep and should be the right play.

I agree Chris. Good thing about the O’s, they use multiple lineups that are all successful at generating runs. I think this game comes down to their bullpen and if they can hold together to finish the game. That’s also where I think Hyde will be looking at the next series w/ the braves. Always a chance Os start slow and don’t give Burnes run support, but I like the O’s 1st 5inn

i also had orioles huge saturday and sunday. phil maton is myfavirite pitcher for alowing a 3 run home run and grand slam sunday. i took them monday but only for $300

@@arob8752 yes great points. I was also considering first 5. There has been a couple times I hit on Baltimore the first two games in a series and when going for the sweep they have lead after 5 innings and lost the game.

Sunday night baseball, tough series with the dodgers, first game on the road after a couple home series-seems like that college football let down spot. Lugo at home and rodon on the road are the same player. Yankees bullpen has seen a ton of work lately. I don’t like playing against the Yankees, but give me the royals in the first game!

i had orioles sat and sunday so phil maton is my pitcher of the year for tampa bay for allowing 7 runs in 2 games of releif. i pray he comes in on monday also. that would be crazy if they did

Minus 1 usually means split bet between ML and runline.

DK, Fanduel and other big books usually have them... You can google -1 run-in MLB... And it will do the calculation of splitting your bet on ML and RL to get the -1 line if book does not offer it

Contrarian bet, not always a bad way to go.. Has not been profitable to bet against the O's tho

I cant find any statistical reason to back either team to win. Two things i noticed. Rodon got crushed in his last start of 2023 in Kansas City. He gave up 8 first inning runs to KC. I know that was last year and Rodon is a much better pitcher this year but i cant get that performance out of my mind.. Also as good as Lugo been this year i did notice that each time he faced a good offense he didn't perform well and the team lost each game. Brewers, Cleveland and Baltimore are the good teams Lugo faced and lost to this year. He dominated weaker competition. I personally would lean Yanks as the side but Soto is probably out today again and the Yankees are coming off a grueling series vs the dodgers and played a late Sunday night game. So for now i have to go with Kansas City team total over 3.5. But if Soto does play then i may consider Yankees as a side. I may even still leave that royals team total over in no matter what if that makes sense. I guess i need the see the lineups first. Good luck today Drew.

Buddy read closer. I said the team lost those games not Lugo. I don't pay as much attention to a pitchers win, loss record as I do to the teams win and losses when that pitcher is pitching. I also look at the pitchers performance but win and loss record for a pitcher can be skewed. So KC lost games outright to the 3 teams I mentioned above when Lugo pitched and Lugo didn't pitch good in those 3 games. Per the numbers anyways.

Maybe the second sentence made it sound like I meant Lugo lost himself to those teams but I was referring to KC losing as a team if you look at the sentence before that. Sorry for any confusion.
